Chapter 5

When the officer explains what's happened, you immediately tell him that you're going to the hospital. You end the call and you ask Logan if he can take you, he willingly agrees and he drives as fast as he possibly can. You arrive at the hospital and while your walking through, you notice people in their hospital beds and you feel bad for them. You get to Jacks bed and you feel so relieved to see him, but he isn't awake at the moment. You could tell that he was in pain from all of the bruises and deep cuts he had on him. You sat by his bed for three hours, and then a doctor came to see if he had woken up, but he was still out cold. The doctor explained how he hadn't woken up yet since he had his accident."Oh....I see", you wanted to burst into tears. You didn't have much to say, this was all a lot to take in. Before the doctor left, you asked her what happened, but the doctor had to go and sort out a little girl a few rooms down, but she said she would be back. You still had the box of chocolates that you bought for him so you put them on the little table next to his bed. It had been 6 hours now, and he still hadn't woken up. You seemed to be calm because you thought he was just resting off the pain. A nurse came in and gave him a blood test. She then took off the breathing mask because he was stable and breathing fine now. You found a magazine that didn't look half bad so you started reading that until you heard a slight whisper."Y-Y/n?" Jack finally woke up."Oh my god Jack! I missed you so much, I was really worried!", you said while giving him a hug."I mi-(cough cough)I missed you too". You instructed him not to speak because you knew it would be hard for him too."I'll go get you a glass of water", you said as you stood up. Jack nodded and gave you a little smile. You kissed him on the forehead and went to find a water dispenser.
