Ninja Assassin; Chapter 03: Awkward

"I'm good, you?" Yuno replied. Yuno felt really awkward and yet confused. "I am good as a freshly baked cookies" Haru jokingly replied.

Yuno smiled as he finally knew their friendship was back again. At least that's what he thought.

Yuno was about to type something when Yuna chimed in. "You didn't answer my question.."

Yuno blinked and scrolled through the chatbox searching if Yuna did ask something. His mouth formed an 'o' as he finally saw the question.

"Oh, right. This is where I train to gain more ninjutsu. How about you?"

"I can say the same"

There was once a long awkward silence again. This made Yuna and Haru feel uncomfortable. Yuna always disliked awkward situations, even if she tried not to make it awkward it'll always end up that way. Haru also disliked awkward situations, he hated it since not talking for a while feels like he's suffocating.

The three typed at the same time and clicked 'enter' in unison.

"Why are we so awkward?"

Yuna averted her gaze to the blonde on her right. Haru also did the same. Yuna shrugged and turned her attention to the monitor once again. Yuno sighed and started to type on his keyboard.

"Look, I'm sorry about what happened years ago. I know how sensitive Yuna is if it comes on getting her killed. Now can we stop being awkward and do things just like before?"

Yuna and Haru looked at each other. They smiled and nodded.

"Sure :D"

"Okay :)"

Yuno smiled and equipped his long sword, "Shall we kill rookies?" he suggested and smirked. Yuna and Haru also equipped their swords, "I'll take that as a yes"

Yuna's eyelids started to get heavy. Turning her attention to the time, she yawned.

9:30 PM

Yuna's eyes shot open for she remembered she was supposed to be at the mall at six thirty with her friend, Fumiko. "HOLY FUDGE CAKES" She exclaimed, shoting up from her chair. She searched for her bag upstairs and started to search for her cellphone once she found her bag. She was so in a hurry to text her bestfriend, she forgot about her character and got it got killed.

Haru raised a brow as loud thuds were heard from upstairs. "What's going on with her now" Haru mumbled as he yawned. He excused himself to Yuno and stood up and headed to the living room. It was now peaceful just how he liked it. He went upstairs to his and his siblings room to see his younger and older sibling, Fred and Hiruko sleeping peacefully. Hiruko, his older brother, has his phone on his hands and it was vibrating. Curious, he quietly went in and slowly snatched Haru's phone carefully not to wake him up. He frowned as he saw a text Haru disliked the most.

Yuna on the other hand was still finding her phone. She let out a gleeful "Yes" as she found her phone laying on her study table beside her red laptop. She quickly grabbed it and quickly texted Fumiko.
