Clementine tapped her knees with her fingers, creating a beat with her closed eyes, anything to distract her from the grunts and groans a few cells down. She was not surprised that it would happen soon, the men were in fact alone with each other, one way or another they were going to find a way to pleasure themselves with each other, it was not like homosexuality was unheard of in this place, but Clementine still felt awkward listening to it, even though she knew Finnley was apart of their respective community, it didn't change the fact that she had to turn herself around and stare at the concrete wall, rocking herself back and forth, humming to herself a song she had learned in her childhood. She knew she would have to endure it, especially since she had been trapped here for what seemed to be an eternity, staring at the same walls, the same rusted bars. This prison was older than Vedalia, way older, she had killed the king who owned this palace, and turned it into her own monarchy. She had her throne, and she called herself a queen, though all Clementine could see her sister as was a villain, like a better Maleficent. She was eviler, she had no problem with murdering everyone that got in her way. Clementine knew that Vedalia made sure that her killings were the most brutal and inhumane as possible, just to be respected and feared. She fed off of fear, brutality was her strongest trait. Clementine bristled as her back was touched by a freezing cold steel bar, the metal pressing against her clothed back, though she still developed goosebumps from the feeling. She had to get out of here soon, or she would become as insane as everyone that surrounded her.

Vedalia grabbed Sophia a hairbrush and ran it through her thick chocolate brown locks, caressing her face with her free hand. The blue-eyed British girl looked up at her now standing girlfriend, analyzing her beautiful face. Beauty can come in many forms, and Vedalia was a different kind of beauty. Her beauty was cruel, sharp, like that of an elegant hawk. Her nose was straight edged, like a razor blade, her jaw squared and tight, her eyes black as the night sky, her pupils hidden within the rolling sea of charcoal. Sophia blushed as Vedalia finally met her analytic gaze, the British girl flushed with embarrassment as Vedalia bluntly murmured "What?"

Sophia awkwardly smiled, twiddling her thumbs thoughtfully. "Um...nothing Vedalia, you're just so beautiful," she responded, her shoulders squaring as Vedalia scoffed with an eye roll. She did not respond for a moment, still focused on taming her hair, though she hummed Sophia's favorite song, her hips rocking slightly as she pushed the brush through the knots and tangles, finally straitening the hair and keeping it down.

"Mhm, so are you.~" she purred in response, patting her cheek before placing the brush down on the end table next to her bed, then seating herself onto the plush mattress once again. "Are you hungry Sophia? You must be famished..." she whispered, her black eyes looking almost..worried.

Sophia cocked a brow, seating herself between Vedalia's legs, her back pressed against Vedalia's chest, her head on her left shoulder. "Sort of. Will you eat with me? Please? I don't like being alone all the time.~" she groaned with almost a childish whimper, pouting as she played with Vedalia's fingers, skimming over each powerful nail.

Vedalia cracked her knuckles, wiggling her fingers around as Sophia tapped and poked at her nails. "Maybe.." she mumbled, her chin on Sophia's head. She shifted, turning so the two's eyes were met.

"Pleaaaaasseeeee?~" she groaned, giving Vedalia her best puppy dog eyes, her arms wrapping around her neck, hugging her. "Pleeeeeeasssssseeeee?~" she repeated, swaying back and forth, trying to convince her girlfriend to at least spend more time with her than just an hour, which was usually the longest she was there in the bedroom for. Sophia hated being a secret, she wanted their relationship to be out in the open, but she understood that it was for her safety as well as Vedalia's that she was kept in this room, hidden away from her subjects. She was Vedalia's princess, her lady in waiting. People always talked about how being someones pretty little lie was thrilling, exciting, but Sophia knew it was a lie. It hurt to be a secret, every day she would wake up, alone, bored. She was never allowed to leave that room, she had every basic necessity, a bathroom, a bed, the only thing that she needed that was not there, or given to her, was love. She already knew that Vedalia loved her, but she always left her alone in there, waiting like a patient cat, just like Cobalt waited by her side every day, the two girls, though they were two different species, they still waited for the same woman they loved.

Vedalia huffed, rubbing her temples before pushing Sophia slightly away. "Fine, I'll eat with you. You're so stubborn," she grunted, taking her hand and helping her up. "Come with me," she commanded, dragging Sophia behind her like her hand was a rope tied to a horse she was leading to the stables.

Sophia excitedly squealed, so happy that she had won her stubborn girlfriend over. "Thank yoooooooouuuu!~" she shouted, grinning like a dope as Vedalia shook her head, mumbling something incoherent under her breath. Of course, she loved Sophia, but she did not always have the time to visit her every second of the day. Sure Sophia was alone, but she had Cobalt and certainly many things to do. There was an entire shelf of books, which Sophia had only touched maybe one or two, she also had technology at her side, as well as easels and drawing pads. It was not like Vedalia left her alone to perish of boredom, though she did feel bad for the lack of time she spent with her, even if she was supposed to be a hard, cold-hearted ruler, she still had a soft spot for Sophia, she had one for her ever since the two were just toddlers rambling in their own child gibberish, playing on playgrounds and learning to swim together. The two were destined to be together, even their parents planned specifically for the two to always be together.

"Whatever.," she whispered, though she was smiling softly, her steps calm and collected, though she was happy.

"I love you."
