"Wake up stupid bitch!" Sapphire wasn't surprised that she was woken up like that, nonetheless she didn't get up until she felt something break on her hip. "Bitch i said wake up!"
  She opened her eyes to see a broken plate along with fresh blood on the mattress. Her mom left the room for her to get dressed. She slid up her shirt and looked at herself in the mirror, thinking about how much she hated herself. Her rib cage protruding from being starved by her mother, with scars and bruises from the abuse.
  She got dressed and left for school, but instead of the regular school stuff in her bag, it was money and clothes. When she left this morning, she wasn't going back.
  In her first hour, math, she asked the boy next to her, Wyatt, for a pencil. He seemed surprised by the fact that SHE needed a pencil since it was always him asking her for one.
  "can i have a piece of paper too?" she asked looking down hoping he wouldn't notice the black eye. But to her luck, he did.
  "Oh my god, are you okay?" his voice was laced with concern.
  "oh yeah i fell." she lied straight through her teeth, and he knew she was lying. He kept quiet anyways.
  Wyatt had problems too, but not as bad. His parents were very judging. He never felt like he was worth anything. He hated his life but could never compare to Sapphire's life. His parents would scold him for making a B and tell him he'll never live up to family expectations, but Sapphire is told that even though she's a straight A student

  Sapphire sat with her friends, Kaiden, Chosen, Millie, Lillia, and Sophia. Wyatt was really popular so he sat with Finn and Jack, the asshole duo, and Jaeden and Jeremy, the softies. Of course caterpillar eyebrows- er i mean Ellie was with them along with her friends Maxine and Alondra. Alondra was all on Wyatt, but the only person Wyatt could think about was Sapphire.
  "Wyatt, baby! why wont you kiss me!" Alondra pouted but he just brushed her off, but she still continued "You're thinking about Sapphwhore again aren't ya."
"One im not in the mood, Two she's not a whore." Wyatt rolled his eyes as the girl gasped
"AUGH! Fuck you then!"
"No thanks!"
Sapphire couldn't hold back a laugh but it didn't last for long.
"Saph watch out" Kaiden attempted to warn her but her laughing came to a halt. Cold liquid dropped down her face with the smell of Mountain Dew. Alondra had poured her drink on Sapphire.
"Oh my god! Sapphire! Are you okay?" Wyatt sounded genuinely worried, and to her surprise Finn and Jack looked pissed. Wyatt, in a friendly gesture put his hand on her shoulder. It sounds so cheesy but she felt sparks, and she knew he did too because as quick as he took a hand away a blush crept up his face. Her shoulder felt numb as his hand felt on fire.
She always had something towards the boy. Maybe it was the way he smiled when he pleaded for a pencil, with that one damned dimple of his. Maybe it was his voice that was oh so crack-y from crying at home. Maybe she didn't have a reason to like him, she just did.
But- but now, it was love.

WISE MEN SAY

He took her hand and rushed to the boys bathroom.

He ran towards the paper towels to help her clean up.

He was scrubbing at her shirt when their eyes met, and wyatt started leaning down.

Their lips met. His were soft and gentle, yet persistent and demanding. It felt like he had wanted to do this for a while. Her lips were soft too, but wet from her tears and the soda. She was melting into the kiss.

He had her on a wall with their bodies pressed together, one of her hands on his chest and the other in his curly hair.

One of his hands were on the wall, keeping him from crushing her. The other on her waist, on the inside of her shirt. His hands traveled up but not too far. His tongue found its way into her mouth as she smiled a little bit from the contact.

His hand was resting right under where her bra is, but the other found it's way into her hair. He wanted to be closer, and she was dying from his touch.
