So,my beautiful mate ,what's today going to bring ?" He smiled down at me,his eyes seeming to drown within mine.

"I-I don't know " I shivered under his arm.His eyes hardened.A sob climbed up my throat as he dug his fingers into my sharp shoulder.

"Willow,answer your husband!" He growled.

"Mommy ! Mommy !"

His body whipped round ,a smile radiating off his face as two,small brunette heads charged into our bedroom.

"Look at our drawings !"

My two sons tore into the room,almost tripping over one another as they fought to be first.

"Look Mommy!" Aidan jumped up and down,waving a piece of paper,containing a large pink smug.

"It's a pig ! A fat pig !" He laughed,two cute dimples appearing on his heart shaped face.I smiled and dared to pull away from Alex's grasp to pick him up.

"It's wonderful!" I smiled,pulling my fingers through his curls.He giggled and jiggled around,painfully on my hip.

"Daddy! I've draw a gun look!" Asher yelled at the top of his voice.He climbed into Alex's broad arms.A triumphant smile upon his face.

Aiden curled into my neck.

"I told him not to" he muttered into my ear.

I suppressed a sigh.Cradling my baby close.

There was no doubt they were twins,mirroring one another exactly.Same dark brown curls,same forest green eyes,same dimples that appeared when they were laughing along with a cute,toothy sideways smile...

But as they grew it became clear they weren't the same at heart.Aiden liked puzzles,Asher always broke them apart when he was done.Aiden liked bath times,Asher thrashed and screamed.Aiden loved to read story's and play quietly,Asher wanted to play wars were he used his little fingers to poke Aiden.

I grew concerned.But Alex just laughed.He truly loved Asher,I've seen the way he looks at him,with utter pride and love.But he never looks at Aiden the same,whenever he'd try to coax Aiden into games he'd come running to me,crying because his Dad had got mad with him.

"He needs to learn to be a man and werewolf"
Alex had said.

But they wouldn't be able to start shifting yet.But he'd shrugged off my concerns and neglected Aiden almost completely,paying more attention to Asher.

"Mommy,can we get ice cream ? " Aiden asked quietly,curling his small fist into my hair.I smiled and nodded.

"ICE CREAM ! ME TO ,ME TO !" Aiden yelled excitedly,flinging himself out of Alex's arms and bolting out our bedroom.

I heard him chuckle before placing his arm tight round my shoulders.

"Aiden,go with your brother me and Mommy need to talk"I shuddered at his coldness.Aiden reluctantly climbed down from my arms,throwing a hesitant look over his shoulder he followed after his brother.

"You need to stop babying him,he's going soft he needs to toughen up a bit !" I cringed as he snapped at me.

"H-he's sensitive and timid,he's not like Asher"
I stuttered under his flaming gaze.

He tuck in a sharp intake of breath,before grabbing my arms and pulling me to face him.

"HOW DARE YOU SPEAK BACK TO ME!" He roared.Large trembles made my knees weak as his crimson face filled my vision.

He bought his hand back,then lashed out,slapping my face.I fell to the floor,clutching  my stinging cheek,tears gushing down my face.

"IM YOUR MATE ! IM YOUR HUSBAND YOU WILL NOT DISRESPECT ME !"

I heard the door slam,leaving me huddled on the floor.

Seconds later I heard a gentle padding sound,followed by the creek of the door.

"Mommy ?"

Hearing my angels voice I quickly wiped my face and sat up.

His bright eyes were full of worry as he came over to me.

"Why are you crying Mommy ? Have you hurt yourself ?"

I smiled and shuck my head.

"No baby,I just fell over you know how Mommy can be clumsy"

I watched his tiny hands press against his lips before pressing against the bright slap mark on my cheek.

"Daddy can be clumsy to" He said.
