A Love SPIDERWEB? – Chapter 10
**Hope’s P.O.V. **
I woke up the next morning, being greeted my phone’s buzzing. I walked over to it and read: 4 New Text Messages. I opened them and this is what I read:
Niall: Hey Babe <3
Liam: I hope Zayn’s okay....
Niall: Are u ignoring me? BABE!
Terra: hey, I’m sorry about ditching like that.... I just couldn’t handle that.... I’ll make it up to you, let’s hang at my house. 10ish? Meet me at my house.
I quickly typed a response to Niall: Sorry, fell asleep. I’m going to Terra’s, so we can’t hang out. and then got changed. I put on my Love Pink tank top, and a pair of my denim short shorts. I grabbed my phone of my bed, and headed out of the door.
“I’m home!” my voice rings through the halls of Terra’s house. I had let myself in as usual. Terra and I practically lived together. We also called each other’s moms Mom, and each other’s dads Dad.
“I’m in the bedroom!” I heard Terra yell from – obviously - the bedroom. I walked through the beige halls, and finally stopped at Terra’s bedroom door. I opened the door quietly, only to find a Terra sprawled on the floor along with all of her belongings.
“No, Terra! There is no need to clean.” I said sympathetically, moving down to her and sitting beside her. Terra feels she needs to clean whenever she is nervous, mad, or confused. Clearly, she is confused. “Terra, its okay, yesterday was a weird day. Those kinds of days happen to everyone.” I was trying to help, but she just continued to clean. “Fine, if you wanna clean, we are going to talk about yesterday.” I said with a stern voice. She just winced, but then continues to clean.
“Okay~” Terra said, trying to act like she didn’t care, but I know she did.
“So, yesterday, you were hanging with Harry.” I started to investigate. “Do you like him now?” She just looked at me, but I understood what she wanted to say. “Okay, so you hate him because he hit Zayn. So, does that mean you like him again?”
“I don’t know, Hope.” She said, trying not to cry. “I DON’T KNOW!” She began to shout. Luckily, we were the only ones home. “I don’t know if I like Zayn, or Harry!” She looked like she was about to cry. I wrapped my arms around her, and let her cry, even though, there would be no tears. Terra never cried. Not since grade 4; when Zayn, Harry, Liam, Louis, and even Niall started to make fun of us. The first time they began to make fun of us, Terra cried, and swore she would make them stop. She tried to stop them, but it was no success. She never cried again.
“Listen, Terra, you can cry.” She just looked at me. “Nope, I can’t not til they stop.” She said keeping her eye contact away from me.
“They have stopped.” I said remembering I was lying. Just yesterday, they all were hating on Terra. “You lie.” Terra said with no expression, and I knew she was right.
“Okay, I know that. Well, I can tell you this.” I had to come up with something that will make her laugh. “When you and Zayn were dating, you were so cute! Then, he must have gotten diagnosed with J.S.” She just gave me a look of confusion. “Jerkimatosis Syndrome.” She just burst out in laughter. Success!
“See, they were good up until then.” I cracked a smile, and laughed as well. “All better now?”
“I guess.” She said getting up, and heading for the door. “Where we headed?” I asked thinking we were gonna go out, but she just turns and replies, “A girl can go to the bathroom can’t she?” I just sit there and laugh.
“Wait, you never told me. Do you like Zayn still, or has the seductive Harry finally captured your heart?” She smiles, and I stretch my arms over my head. She mouths the answer and my arm just drop. She walks out the door, laughing, and I’m just in shock. My jaw is dropped, as I scream him name. “LOUIS?”
**Niall’s P.O.V. **
“Hey, you guys up yet?” I heard moaning and groaning coming from Li’s bed, but nothing from Lou’s. I had slept over at Li’s house last night, cause of what happened yesterday. “Lou get up, I just got this weird text from Hope, and she told me something big!” Lou didn’t budge. I began to poke him until he finally woke up. “WHAT DO YOU WANT?!?!?!”
“Sorry, but I got this text from Hope, and it’s pretty juicy. Hmmmm, just like a burger....” I began to lick my lips, just at the thought of the burger. Man, I was hungry.
“So, what does the text say?” Li said, while getting out of bed.
“It says Terra doesn’t hate us anymore!” I began to cheer and raise my arms up in the air to show my joy, but Lou and Li didn’t join me. I slowly put my arms down and calmed the cheers just enough to ask, “Why aren’t you cheering?”
“That is not juicy, that is good, but, not big.” Li said as he went to go get breakfast.
“Fine, you got me. That isn’t the text. It actually says,” I lock my eyes onto the screen as I read the text word for word “Terra doesn’t hate you guys, and she even LIKES one of you! How cute! This is amazing, if they start dating we could have double dates, and it would be adorable! I’m so excited!” I look up from the screen, to see the boys staring at me. “Which one of us do you think she likes?” Li asks.
“Obviously, it is either Zayn or Harry.” Lou buds in, lying back down.
“I think it is Zayn, cause did you see how she reacted when Harry hit him, and why would she like someone who punches his best friend?” Li responds, continuing down the hall.
“True,” Lou says. “But, you guys didn’t see the way her and Harry were before that. They were holding hands, and it was cute. I was actually pretty jealous.”
“Ohhhh! Do you like her too?” I bud in, holding in the laughter.
“What no! Are you kidding! I was jealous of HER! Not HARRY!” Lou answers, laughing.
“Whatever,” I say as I put my phone in my pocket, and yell, “Li, hurry up with the food!”
AUTHOR'S NOTE:
Sorry about not uploading on Friday, I was caught up in my Valedictorian speech, so I kinda couldn't find the time to write it. I decided I would upload it with Chapter 11.
So, Louis? Who saw it coming? I think no one!
That is how I like things! Surprises!
Who thinks Louis likes her too? I don't know if I should do them or not.... Terra has so many options!
