Melissa's POV

It took a lot in me not to shiver just by the way he mentioned my name.
I turned around ready to address him with smiles.

"Hi Austin , I didn't know you were back "

" yeah I came back yesterday "

"Oh okay its good to see you again." I said with fake smiles

"Yeah you too. So what's going on here? He asked

" oh nothing just that someone wasn't looking their way ." I said whiles glaring at Natalie.

"i -i -I'm sorry Melissa I'll get you a new dress " Natalie pitched in

"You get me a new dress, do you know how much this cost?" I scoffed

"Lissa just let it go. She already said sorry and you obviously can buy yourself a new dress" Austin said

"Are you seriously taking her side right now?"

"I'm taking no ones side"

"Yeah whatever. Come on girls let's go"
I flipped my hair and left with Chelsea and Ariel.

I was really hurt by Austin's actions
"I can't believe Austin took that nerds side" Chelsea exclaimed

"Yeah me too" Ariel said

"Lissa what are you going to do now"? Chelsea asked

" I think I now want to pay Austin back for what he did to me a year ago" I said with a smirk.

"Oh I can't wait" Ariel said excitedly

"Ugh now I can't stay at this party. My dress is all ruined. I have to go"

"Don't you want us to come with you?" Chelsea asked

"No its OK you guys should stay and enjoy the party .I'll be OK."

"OK take care" Chelsea said and they both left.

As I was walking to my car I heard someone call my name.

"Melissa "
I turned to see that it was Evan the nerd that is always bugging me.

"Evan what do you want?"

"Uh I saw what happened in there and came to see if you where OK"

"I'm OK can I go now?"

"Yeah see you Monday"

"Yeah whatever"I said and walked away.

I never sort out to be a bitch and be rude to people . My dad cheats on my mom who knows but is still with him.
My mom never liked me. She always had a way to put me down .
So me being loved is not something I'm used to but something that I long for.
So I guess that's why I turn to bully and look down on people so that I can feel good about myself.
I just hope that I'll be able to sneak in without my mom knowing.
With everything that has happened tonight her insults would be like salts added to my wound.
