I wake up the next morning like I normally do when I fall asleep on the couch, the blanket on the floor and a tingling in my left arm from laying on it. The noise from the bar downstairs was silenced due the lack of morning drinkers. I walk to the bathroom, put my hair up, wash my face. I walk into the kitchen and see Charlie asleep on the couch. I put on a pot of coffee. I need to be fully awake if I want to go hunter searching.

Taylor makes his way into the room and Charlie sits up.

"Sorry to wake you." I said and both reply with the same thing.

"No, it's fine." They exchange a look with eachother. Charlie got up and grabbed his coat.

"I guess I'll just head out." He started to walk towards the door.

"No just stay and have some coffee. You know I'm not going to be able to drink all this by myself." I said holding up the pot of coffee.

"Fine." He moans and sits at the counter. I handed him a cup and filled it. He took a drink and made a face that looked like someone had just smacked him.

"What?" I asked.

"Your taste in coffee is as good as your taste in apartments." He coughed.

"You just can't stop making fun of this place can you?"

"Nope." He got up and went for the door. "See ya later loser."

"I hate you!" I yelled when he closed the door.

"I love you too!" He called from beyond the door.

I finish my perfectly good coffee as Taylor sits down at the table.

"What's up with you and him?" He questions.

"Charlie? There's nothing up with me and Charlie." I scoff. "He's like a brother to me."

"If you say so." His tone makes me want to slap him if I could.

"I'm going to go get ready." I don't stomp off like a child but there is attitude in everystep.

I walk into the room with the chest that holds my most important magic materials. Indgrediants, Spellbook, a map, and anything I may need for simple spells.

"What is that?" Taylor looks at the box suspiciously.

"What up with the questions?" I tease as I run my hand over the dark, detialed, lid of the mahogany box.

"I was just dropped into a world I don't know anything about, and I'm dead. Of course I'm going to have questions." He started pacing the room and lights started to flicker. He's getting angry and just like that, he disappears.

"Finally," I say under my breath. Now I can get some work done. I load some charms into an small leather bag  and I say a few chants. This will keep the other witches from being able to locate me while I'm outside of the city. I stuff the small bag into my larger one and pull a map of the South East part of Louisiana. Using the match book from the box, I enchant the fire and throw it on the map. The orange flames eat away at the map leaving a small portion left. the spot left on the map is a small town called Winston. I'll leave in an hour.

My locator spells never fail, so I'm going to Winston. I pack and call Charlie.

"Hey."

"What's up loser." He says sarcastically.

"I'm going to out of town for a day or two." I say.

"Is this for what I think it is, Addie?" His tone is now concerned.

"No, I'm visiting some friends." I lie.

"Liar, you don't have any friends." I can hear the sarcasm floating back into his tone.

"I do too! You and your brother aren't my only friends."

"Whatever helps you sleep at night. Have fun with your imaginary friends from out of town." I can tell he's proud of himself for that one.

"I'll see you later loser." I sing into the phone.

"Love you too, be safe." He hangs up the phone.

I grab my keys and  walk out of the door. Taylor appears at my side.

"Where are we going?"

"Somewhere I can find help." I say keeping my head down as we walk down the stairs and through the bar. Only the supernatural can see Taylor, so me talking to him on the walk to the car is going to land me in a mental institute.

Does this place have a name?" He questions further.

"Just get in the car, dammit." He holds his hands up in surrender. I throw my bag in the backseat of my '67 Impala and start the engine.

It's not a long drive to Winston, only two hours away. We get to the motel and I book a room. The place isn't as bad as some motels I've been to before, but still just as run down as my apartment. I throw my bag down and get out a map of the town. Another locator spell will help me find any hunters in the near by area. Taylor stands in the back of the room, looking at me with confusion. I know he wants to say something, but I ignore the look and continue the spell. It points to a place just down the road. I pack everything up and put it in the trunk. I head towards the way the map led me. There is a bar about a mile down called Josie's. There tons of classic cars parked in the lot. This is the place.

I dont know why, but hunters have an obsession with classic cars. All the ones I've ever seen will have old Pontiacs or any others car made before the 70's. I walk in and go straight for the bartender.

"What can I get you Ma'am." the boy had a deep southern accent and brown shaggy hair. He probably wasn't any older than twenty-one.

"Yes, I'll have a scotch and I'm looking for some hunters, you think you could point some of 'em out for me?" I say with my nicest, laid back tone.

"Yeah theres a few over there," he nods to a man and a woman sitting across from eachother in a booth." Here's your drink."

"Thank you," I smile and leave some money on the counter. I make my way over to the table.

"Excuse me, are you two hunters?" I ask politely.

"It depends who's asking." The lady replies harshly, her raspy voice could cut through butter.

"I'm sorry, I'm adelaide. I was wondering if you two could help me."
