Practice Time!

[Lexi's POV ]

Today, I'll be meeting up with Artem, my dance partner for Dancing With The Stars. We'll be rehearsing a choreography together and our concept is Dirty shade. The theme is also black. I am a little nervous and I am also wondering how this'll turn out because he's a professional dancer and I don't want anything to go wrong.

I got to the studio and greeted Artem as soon as I arrived. He was already there, he had gotten to the studio hours before and rehearsed repeatedly. I kinda felt a little bad because he took the time to practice even more for me so that our dance could really be the best.

 We warmed up before dancing, doing a few flexible stretches to prepare ourselves for certain moves that required flexibility. We talked about how the choreography will go, we focused especially on the steps that I need help with. As soon as we started dancing, there was more of serious aura, there was no messing about and we practised seriously. I tried my absolute best for him so that I could impress Artem.  

There was this one move where I had to go upside down during the dance, I was a little frightened but I got it over and done with. Hopefully, I can get it correct for when we perform for the competition tomorrow night. I was excited but then the thought came back to me that I'd be dancing in front of hundreds of people tomorrow night. 

It's my first time dancing in front of many different people, it really is a nerve-racking experience for me but it has to be done.

[NEXT DAY.]

Today is competition and the only thing that has been on my mind has been  dancing in front of all those people and the judges especially. I want to make a great first impression and I don't think failing would do any good for me and my fame. 

I mentally prayed all morning, while I stared at my reflection in the mirror. Trying on my outfit for the show almost made me want to just throw up and just faint.

[Lexi's POV.]

Yes, yes and yes!

We absolutely nailed it, I'm incredibly proud of myself and grateful that I have someone as understanding and as patient as Artem. He took his time to teach me all the dance moves from the start to the end and thanks to him, I was able to pull off such an amazing dance routine.

I also can't believe that I kissed Artem, well he kissed me. I can't believe that he did that but I can't find it in me to complain. I didn't mind him kissing me at all, I kinda liked it to be completely honest with you. It was so magical and it felt just right.

[ARTEM'S POV]  (FOR THE FIRST + PROBABLY LAST TIME.)
 

Tonight was just amazing! The applause we got after that routine had me speechless, really speechless for a few minutes. I honestly never knew that Lexianne could really dance like that. I could see how she struggled massively with the routine but the way she danced tonight really surprised me.

Everything just felt right and I had to end that dance routine by kissing her. I want to ask her tomorrow if she maybe wants to go out of with me tomorrow night but I am a little bit nervous with the response she may give me.

I'm just hoping that she accepts me because I'd be the happiest man in the entire world if she was to say yes to me.
