The next morning, I woke up to the smell of chicken and waffles. When I got up, I walked into the bathroom and brushed my teeth. Btw Nyla and I have a 2 bedroom, one bathroom dorm. After I finished that, I checked my text messages.

When I saw that Gabby had texted me , I texted her back and then I texted Nyla. After I got off my phone, I went into my closet and was trying to decide what to wear. Today I was feeling like something cute but simple.

So I chose this, and I made this outfit myself. Like I do most of my clothes. After I put on my clothes, I decided to leave my hair big and curly. After I grabbed the things I would need for the day, I walked into the kitchen to see Nyla cooking.
" Dang Nyla it smell good up in hea' ! " I said.
"Thanks", she replied as she spun around.
When she turned around, I so surprised. Yesterday when I saw her, she didn't have on any makeup. But today she looked flawless!

"What is it?" She asked,looking worried.
"YO' MAKEUP LOOK AMAZIN'!" I yelled.
"Aww thank you" she said blushing.
I've never seen a dark skin blush until today. All of last night, Nyla and I talked about ourselves. I found out that she was majoring in Fashion and Cosmetics, just like me. I also found out that when she was 15, she moved from Ethopia to Miami, Florida. Since she was already in Florida, she decided to go to college here, @ the University of Florida.
" Are going to eat something?" She asked.
" Yea!" I exclaimed.
After that, I grabbed a plate and started eating. The food was so good, after we finished eating, we said our goodbyes and went our separate ways. Since we stayed on-campus, we could walk to class. I made it to my first period right on time. When I walked in, everybody was standing around, talking. As I walked into the classroom, this group of girls looked @ me and started whispering.

Finally after getting sick of their whispering, I turned around and yelled, " If ain't neitha' one of ya' stuck up ahh', dry pussy ahh hoes, gon come say dat' shit ta' my face, ya need ta' shut the fuck up!"
Just as this short darkskin was getting ready to reply, I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist and pull me away. When we the person had pulled me away from the girls, that's when the arms released me. As I turned around getting to ready to go off, I was met by this tall , tattooed dude 🚹.

" Why did yhu do dat' ? " I asked.
" Thats a nice way to introduce yourself!" He said with a smile, " I'm Dave"
" I'm Justine, now answer my question" I remarked with a attitude.
As he was preparing to answer, our teacher walked in and told us to take a seat. I decided to sit in the back, and guess who decided to sit next to me. DAVE!
"Hello Students, I'm Ms.Moore, and I'm going to be your science teacher, in my class you will learn the basics of science. But in Ms.Green class, thats where you'll do the experiments and etc. So can all of you please take out your laptops" she stated. I could tell she was going to be one of those tecahers who would get on my nerves. As I turned around to get out my laptop, I felt someone tap me on the shoulder. I already knew who it was.
"What do you want Dave?" I asked, rolling my eyes.
"Where are you from?"
"Louisiana"
"I can tell, you have a cute accent " he implied, winking at me.
After he said that, he made me start blushing. 😳 I am going to admit, Dave was fine as hell, but he isn't my type. Finally after typing our notes and stuff , Ms.Moore dismissed us from class. I got my stuff and walked out the class, when somebody bumped into me. Instead of the person apologizing , they kept walking.
"HEY ! YHU AINT GON' SAY SORRY?"
The girl then turned around and when I saw who it was , my whole attitude changed.
"Oops I'm Sorry, I didn't see you ! " she chuckled.

At this point I was tired of her bullshit, so I pulled my hair up. Just as I was getting ready to punch her ass, I felt someone hold me back. The girl just turned around and started laughing. As soon as she made it around the corner, thats when the arms let me go. I spun around and saw Dave looking down at me.
" why the FUCK Thu do dat' " I yelled at him, throwing my hands up in the air.
" You do know who that is ... Right?" He said raising his eyebrow.
"Nahh, but I kno she can get a ass whoopin' "
" She's the most popular girl in school, captain of the cheerleading squad, and not to mention FINE AS HELL!" he emphasized.
" Whateva!, wat' dat' got ta do wit' meh? " I snapped.
" When she's jealous, she's gonna do stuff to make you-
"React" I said finishing his sentence.
"Yeah"
After that, we stopped talking about Amber and got on another subject. We were so busy laughing and talking he had walked me to my classroom.
"Bye Dave! " I giggled.
"Bye Just! " he waved towards me while walking away. I turned and walked into my second period class.
