"Come on!" I whined. "You said you're looking for a character with pink hair and a tragic backstory. Well I'm perfect" I gestured to my hair and then continued. "You already know my tragic backstory. Ain't that tragic enough for you?"
The calming voice spoke again "yes Grey.. that's tragic and yes you have pink hair but no you cannot be the main character of my story."
I crossed my arms and huffed. "Why not! The main character doesn't even have pink hair! It's brown!"
"Well it's my choice." She said staying calm even though I could tell I was pushing it."Now let me start my story."The brown haired male walked down the hallway of the school. He watched as the other children laughed and talked with their friends. Austin never had friends that stayed, he was too shy and quiet. While everyone liked going to dances and other school events Austin liked to stay home and read a book or played a board game with his mother.
"He probably also doesn't have friends because his brother Jackson is so much cooler than him." I smirked reading from the list of character ideas.
The voice growled lowly "Stop touching my things or you'll never get to be in the story!" I could tell she was serious so I put the papers away and listened. I was shocked that she hadn't kicked me out yet. Everyday I climbed up this tall mountain, and half argued with the secretary to let me talk with Voice. I needed to be in a story. And Voice knew it.
I only half listened to her now, trying to figure out how to get in the story.
She continuedAustin continued to walk down the hall until he reached his classroom. He sat in his seat in the front of the class.
