Every night I looked into the sky
Wondering if the stars ever felt the sorrow we bring ourselves

If stars fell when a life was taken by someone else
Or a star died from someone taking their own life

Maybe one was reborn when someone found the courage to stand up
Or one grew brighter when someone found love

I wondered if watching the stars was like watching everyone's life
I felt as though I knew everyone on a deeper level

But then the next night came
And All the stars had moved

I wondered if the sun represented me
Burning big and bright
The one in millions that stood out

I wondered if I were able to catch a falling star Someone would be given a second chance

And with all my what ifs, hopes and dreams I stood outside every night

Prepared to catch your falling star
