Fame
Is that what these people want?
Why do we give the killer more fame then the hero's?
Aren't we just giving the satisfaction?
Shouldn't we be talking about the one who died to protect others and not the one who killed for pleasure
Don't get me wrong
Give the guilty what they deserve
When will it stop?
Because I've been at the vine waiting for the slightest sensation of relief that there will be change
I'm still waiting
Are they even trying?
Do they even care?
I care
Isn't it funny how we are the only ones who claim there to be no conclusion
And yet we are the only ones suffering?——
First of all, thank you for reading all of my poems! I have been writing poetry for many years and even though my work is rusty I still love it non the less, if you like it, tell me! I would love to hear what you like and what I should do more of, it's very encouraging to know people appreciate what your doing! Now onto this poem you just read
This poem is a very important one to me. I think that it is some of my best work, even though it seems a little patchy and rough around the edges, that's how I wanted it to be! It turned out exactly how I imagined and if anyone doesn't understand some of it please let me know and I can try my best to explain. This was slightly based if of the school shooting in Florida on February 14th 2018
My heart goes out to everyone who has been affected by this terrible thing that is becoming all to familiar with this generation
The last line was based off of and article from "the onion", it's not the exact same but I just wanted to credit it for that remarkable statement.
Love you guys! — sunny
