Ok I am slowly going to start editing and republishing this story since I've gotten a lot of requests for me to bring it back. That being said, I'm going to add a song for y'all to listen to at the end of the chapter. Enjoy, babes. ❤️😘

Well, to start things off, my name is Margaret. I know, it's such an old granny name; but it was given to me anyways. I'm 18, and I live in Huntington Beach, California with my dad. We just moved here about a month ago, and I still haven't met any interesting people. Although, sometimes when I'm sitting on the beach reading some of my favorite horror novels, this group of 5 guys always seems to walk past me. Every day, without fail. I think I might just talk to them one day. But me being me, that probably won't happen. I have severe social anxiety, and I'm just a big klutz when it comes to meeting boys. 'You have social anxiety, yet you're at the beach?' You questioned yourself this, correct? I'm here because I hate people, yet I can't stand being by myself. I don't know, it's weird. Anyways. back to the boys, it probably doesn't help that one of the boys is one if the most handsome guys I've ever seen in my entire life. He has this blonde hair with black spots in it; it kind of reminds me of a skunk, to be completely honest. But on him, it's absolutely stunning. And even though I've never been up close and personal, I've seen his eyes. They're amber colored, and they could make any girl melt like butter. I'd love to get to know him, but, I don't stand a chance.

So, let's cut to now. I'm laying on the beach in a black bikini that I sewed these little flying skulls onto. They're called deathbats, and theyre the emblem for this band Frank had introduced me to. They're absolutely amazing! Their name is Avenged Sevenfold, my now favorite band. As if on cue, here come the guys. I hurriedly shove my nose deeper into my book, trying to make myself invisible as I peek over my sunglasses. They're being loud and rowdy, as usual. The tallest one is chasing after the one with black spiky hair, with his arms raised above his head as if he were a zombie. I giggled to myself, then I thought about how he reminds me of how I used to be before her.....

I quickly look back down into my book as the sound of their voices grow closer. I didn't dare look up until they walked past. But this time, instead of getting quieter, their voices stayed a steady volume, like they were by me.  Taking a risk, I glanced up, only to find my eyes met with the pair of that I had secretly been admiring for a month. Startling me, I threw my book and scrambled backwards.  "Holy fuck.... " I breathed. "I'm so sorry," he apologized. "I didn't mean to scare you." He then gave me an apologetic smile. After nodding to him, acknowledging his apology, I proceeded to pick up my book and all of the stuff I had brought to the beach with me. As I stood up to walk away, I felt a hand grab mine. Turning around, I looked at whoever it was, only to see that it was the skunk haired boy. I could feel my heart beat increase as his hand lingered on mine. His touch made electricity flow through my body. "Leaving so soon? We've just arrived!" he smiled at me. "Oh... well I'd hate to intrude and ruin your fun. I'll just be on my way...." I said awkwardly.

"Ah, don't be a party pooper, horror girl!" exclaimed the muscular one. He waved me over with his heavily tattooed arms. As I walked over, I noticed he was staring at my bathing suit. Turning red, I looked down to my feet. "Oh, that's a pretty nice bikini you've got there, uh--" he stopped, raising his eyebrows at me, and  extending his arm to shake my hand.
"Margaret." I stated, barely above a whisper, grabbing his large hand. "Well. good afternoon, Margaret. I'm Matt," he smiled, forming dimples in his cheeks.

I couldn't help but chuckle. I found dimples to be extremely attractive, but as I was actually directly interacting, I realized that every single one of these guys were gorgeous. Suddenly, while lost in my train of thought about attractive people, I felt my body being turned around and smashed against someone's chest
"Ahoy, Marge!! I'm Jimmy!!!" I looked up into a pair of crystal blue eyes. This dude had happiness radiating off of him, it was infectious. "Hi, Jimmy," I wheezed, I couldn't talk for he was squeezing the air out of my lungs. A look of panic must have crossed my face, because he set me back down in the sand and rubbed the back of his neck and grinned down at me.

The guy with purple hair and dazzling green eyes stepped forward, wrapping me into a gentle embrace. I giggled as he whispered in my ear loud enough for Jimmy to hear, "Sorry about Jim Jam over there, he gets a little too excited sometimes." I looked to Jimmy, who just pouted his lip and crossed his arms while looking at this purple haired boy in front of me.
"I'm Zacky, by the way." I smiled. "Nice to meet you, Zacky. I'm Margaret." I looked over to the black spiky haired guy, and then my eyes finally landed on the guy with the amber eyes. Oh, those glorious eyes. After seeing them up close just a minute ago, I could truly see that they are much more beautiful than I had originally thought they were! Zacky glanced over to where I was looking. The black haired guy threw up a hand and waved. Zacky and I waved back. "The spiky haired fuck is Brian. He's a real ladies man, so watch out for him," he winked as he gently nudged me in the arm.
"And short shit over there is Johnny. He's a pretty weird guy." he giggled as I looked at him and then over to Jimmy with wide eyes. "Oh, Johnny's nothing compared to Jimmy. Johnny is weird, and Jimmy is just..... well, Jimmy is Jimmy!" he grinned as we watched Jimmy quack as he strutted into the water, his blonde hair standing straight up. I pulled out my phone to check the time. 5:07. I still had a couple of hours before my dad got home. "Wanna go for a dip?" Zacky inquired as he motioned towards the glistening blue water, watching me intently. "Uhh... sure." I looked at him and gave him my best 'I'm sorry if I'm a fucking awkward potato' smile. As soon as I responded, I felt a pair of long arms wrap around my body and run into the ocean.
"YAY MARGE! LETS SWIM!!!" Jimmy shrieked. "I couldn't help but laugh as Jimmy launched my small body into the water. I hit something hard as I landed in the water, only to realize that Jimmy had thrown me on Johnny. My face flushed as I tried to apologize for Jimmy's behaviour. "Nah, it's cool, I'll get him back!" he said softly as he glared at Jimmy. I followed suit, and when I turned back around, his honey colored eyes were looking deeply into my blue ones as he pushed my aqua colored hair out of my face. "Your eyes are pure amazement compared to many other marvelous things." he murmured. I blushed and thanked him as he grabbed my hand and we started walking back to shore.

I spent the next couple hours with this hysterical bunch of guys. I now had some friends here. 'How long would it be before they dipped out on me, just like everyone else did?' I thought to myself as I walked home. My dad and I lived only about a block away from the beach, so driving wasn't necessary. As I walked, the only image I saw was Johnny. I couldn't wait to get to know him and the rest of the guys better.

I arrived at my house, not surprised that my dad wasn't home yet. I went into my room, threw all of my stuff on my bed, and went downstairs to cook dinner. Since my dad wasn't home, I ate by myself. After I was done, I flipped through the channels on the TV, not really interested in anything. I turned it off and took my plate to the kitchen and put it in the dishwasher. As I stood back up I heard a familiar merp that always warmed my heart.

"Merp to you too, baby boy," I murmured as I picked up my cat, Suitcase. His name choice is a long story. I snuggled him as I went upstairs. I set him on my bed so I could change into big sweats and my favorite Avenged Sevenfold shirt Frank had bought me. I missed him so much. I laid down on my bed with all of the lights off. I replayed the days events, and felt a smile creep into my face. I was actually genuinely smiling for once. As I thought more about it, my eyelids slowly got heavier and heavier, and as I fell asleep, all I could think about was Johnny.

JOHNNY POV

No matter what I did, I couldn't get her out of my head. She was absolutely stunning. Perfection. And her smile! Oh, her smile! The thought of her smile made me grin.

"JOHNNY. EARTH TO GNOME!!" Brian screamed, slapping me multiple times. "Huh, what?" I stuttered as I came back to reality.
"Stop dreaming about my Margie Wargie and pay attention, man!" Jimmy joined in, throwing one of his drumsticks at me.

We were in Matt's parents basement, having band practice. Yes, we're in a band. Matt is the singer, Brian and Zacky play guitar, I'm on bass, and Jimmy is our psychotic drummer. Collectively, we were known as Avenged Sevenfold. Thinking about the band brought me back to Margaret. I had seen the deathbats on her bikini, and I had so desperately wanted to say something. I just didn't know if she was some crazy fangirl that was going to jump my bones because I'm in a band, and we're relatively famous. Ugh. Why do things have to be so tough. I'll tell her eventually, but for now, I was just excited about seeing her again........

Ok so I really didn't change much. I want to try to make the chapters longer but I can't really thing of anything to add. So anyway, the song of this chapter is Such Great Heights by Iron and Wine. I hope you all listen to it, and stay tuned for the next chapter.  Allons-y.
