I have never been a normal child. At the age of four I watched things that were bound to be pg18 but no one can ever be old enough to witness her father's death. I watched him as life left his body, I saw the love he had for me in his eyes for the last time. I watched his face turn red in pain and agony. He loved me and I loved him more than anything in the entire universe. I held his hand as he died, watched his face as he concentrated all the energy left in his body, which wasn't much,to say his last words that constantly rung in my ears. He said "I LOVE YOU MY ANGEL AND I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU. I WILL FOREVER BE WITH YOU". Funny how he finished saying that and left, forever but he said never. I watched him as he drew in his last breath and released it, I watched his hand die beneath mine. I love you too daddy I sobbed. I couldn't put together what had just happened one minute my daddy is driving me home from school. We sang along in the car like everything in the world was okay oblivious of what was going to happen. He was mysteriously shot at our door step after opening the door while closing it after letting ourselves in. I knelt next to him shaking him begging him to wake up, crying, screaming.
" Daddy? Daddy wake up ". My voice was hoarse from all the crying and screaming. Then suddenly a shadow fell upon me, me whole body stiffened. I slowly looked up to see a male figure in black clothes wearing a mask holding a silencer, I wouldn't have known what it was if I didn't secretly watch violent movies in my room I knew way too many guns for a four year old. He slowly bent and put his gloved hand on my father's neck checking his pulse and disappeared as silently as he came.
