The Last One

⚜️Chapter 1⚜️

After another restless day at school, I entered my car and drove home finally happy I can see my baby again AKA MY BED! I've been dreading for Friday to come and it's finally here.

After I arrived home I unlocked the door with my keys not sure if mum was home. When I entered the house, I was immediately attacked by the twins. The twins are my 10yr old little brothers. I love them so much when they aren't annoying.
"Hey red," they both said at the same time. I rolled my eyes playfully and messed up their hair.
"Nooo, not the hair!" Jayden said going to the kitchen. I shook my head just wondering what a playboy he will grow up to be. Jayden has this bad boy look while Nathan is cute and a book worm.

I went to the kitchen to get skittles. They are absolutely my favorite. I love them so much. I'm basically obsessed that I can eat them for the rest of my life.
Nathan is sitting on the stool beside the isle while Jayden is poking his head in the fridge. I hurriedly got my white chocolate and mint ice cream and went upstairs to my room.

My room is plain white with a touch of black here and there. My queen sized bed is also white but with black bed covers. My room wasn't big neither was it small. I have a seat beside my window giving me a full view of the backyard with my flatscreen tv on the wall opposite my bed. I have a walk-in closet and a bathroom attached to it too.

I changed into comfy clothes which consists of a large hoodie and sweatpants. I took my MacBook from my dresser and went to my bed to watch a movie.
I ended up watching teen wolf again! The next season wasn't out yet and I miss seeing my hot best friends.
Tyler Posey and Dylan O'Brien of course. I can trade my skittles just to see them!. Don't blame me my skittle lovers because when it comes to them I'm not myself.

After watching 3 episodes I went downstairs to see my mum setting the table for dinner.
'Hey sweetie' she smiled but a sad one. Hmmm I wonder what's wrong. I wanted to ask her but I just brushed it off and said'Hey mum, let me help you.' She gave me a smile and said,'Don't worry about it sweetie just get your brothers for me and tell them dinner is ready.'
I nodded my head and went upstairs to Nathan's room first which is the closest to the stairs.
I knocked first and entered,
'Hey Nathan,dinner is ready.' He turned from reading his book nodding before following me. You must be wondering why I knocked, well believe it or not his words,
'I'm old enough to have my privacy.' Kids these days.
'Nathan please get your brother and come downstairs,' I smiled and he nodded.
I jogged downstairs and met mum already siting waiting for us. Mum cooked our favorite today lazania and creme caramel for desert.
I sat down next to mum before the twins came in. Nathan sat opposite me while Jayden sat opposite mum.
I took a large amount of lazania and put it on my plate before serving Nathan while mum served Jayden.
As soon as we start eating, moans filled the air from me, Jayden and even Nathan. Mum chuckled at my childish behavior apparently the twins can do it but I can't.
I rolled my eyes at that. We ate in silence before Jayden started talking about the new game that came out.
'Ewwww Jayden close your mouth while you eat,' Nathan exclaimed.
'Shut up Nathan,'he said with a mouthful. Ok ewww.
'Jayden close your mouth while eating and stop arguing with your brother,'Mum said.
I just chuckled at them because they are actually fun to watch.
Mum served us desert and everyone was grinning because Hey! It's not everyday we get mum to make creme caramel. Well not since dad died, I frowned at the memory.I was always a daddy's girl even though I get along with mum quite well. He died in an accident just a month after mum gave birth to the twins.
Mum cut my thought when she said 'Karla.' Okkkk did mum just call me with my name, oh oh this is not good. She always calls me Red apart from when I do things but I rarely do things that'll make her upset.
'Yes mum' I looked up from my food and frowned.
'We are moving to Canada' my jaw dropped. What the fuck...no no no we can't move,what about my friends, Emily,Mia and Caleb.
I don't want to loose my friends.'mum why!!!.'
I whined while Jayden said 'Finally!'he exclaimed excitedly.
'it's about time.'Nathan said with a bored face. I guess this only affects me then but still!!! I am not going to miss going to prom with Mia as my date. We've been planing this since 1st year of high school. This is soo not fair. Mum signed 'Red it's been years since your dad passed away, it brings back memories.' She blinked away her tears. Poor mum. I wish I can help her. Well the least I can do is agree with her and move. I just have to sacrifice my happiness for her. As long as she is happy I'm happy.
'Mum I understand it's okay,I'm glad you are trying to move on, as long as you are happy I am happy too.' I smiled softly at her and hugged her.
'Thank you honey, I was afraid you'll say no. I love you so much.'she smiled happily and hugged me back.
'I love you too mum.So when are we moving and what about work.'I said excited. "i think it's not a bad idea to move." I thought excited.
'Red I'm a fashion designer I can work from anywhere in the world and we'll be staying at grandpa's mansion in Peterborough,Ontario. Your dad inherited it when he passed away which I found out last year..so I figured why not make use of it.'She rambled while I looked at how excited she looks. Hell even i am excited!. 'So what do you think kids,Canada?'She smirked. Well this is a new side of Mum. 'Yes!!!' We all said in union. 'Canada it is' she stood up.
'Mum I want a big room and a video game room' Jayden beamed. I rolled my eyes.
He is thinking of a big room while I'm thinking of making new friends!.
'Mummy I want a Library pretty please!!'Nathan asked with a puppy dog eyes. I smiled at how happy we look. It's been a while since I last saw genuine smiles in the house. Mum chuckled and said 'you'll see for yourself when we get there on Sunday. So pack your bags by tomorrow because we are leaving Sunday morning!'.

After dinner I helped mum clear up and did the dishes before going to my room to break the news to my friends.
So right now I'm sitting on my bed Skyping Emily,Mia and Caleb. Which me luck!!!

-Emily:hey bitches
-Mia:hey normal people and Emily
  I chucked and rolled my rates at        my best friends. Crazy as usual.
-Caleb:Mia! What are you saying My girlfriend is normal. You rock babe.
    He smiled with his cute dimples.He had deep blue eyes with blonde hair. He plays football and is also the captain of the team which gives him the whole bad boy look but trust m he is really soft inside
-Mia:*scoffed* that's only because she is your girlfriend.
I frowned just remembering I have to leave them.
-Me:I'm moving away guys
-Mia: what do you mean you are moving away! Wait don't tell me what I'm thinking is true!
-Emily: Are you fucking kidding me!?
-Me: guys
        I said softly.
-Mia:nooo! What about our plan to go for prom together!
-Emily:who will hold me back when I loose my temper or when I'm ready to beat the crap out of Stacy and her minions!
-Me: guys
      I said again. They kept rambling things I didn't even understand.
-Me: guys!
      I shouted this time. They kept quite this time.
-Me: I have to move because mums not happy here and I want her to be happy. Tonight was the first time I saw her smiling since dad passed away. As in a real smile.
-Caleb: poor little Red. I'm going to miss you.
He frowned
-Mia: I understand. I'm going to miss you too.
-Emily: so where are you moving to?
She said trying to hide her tears. Emily is usually the strong one. I haven't seen her cry since when the school bully pushed her and spoilt her fav shirt in kindergarten. That's when we first started talking. I pulled her away when she was about to attack him. Ever since we have been friends. I met Mia and Caleb in grade 8 though.
-Me: I'm leaving on Sunday. We are moving to Peterborough a city in Ontario. Emily please stop crying you are gonna make me cry.
Just like that in a snap of a finger we started crying and Caleb was left to pet us.
We agreed to hang out tomorrow after they help me pack.
