The Girl in all the Songs (Ross/R5)

Amy!

*RInnah's POV*

 

Quietly I open the door to Rydel's room. To my surprise I find her sitting on her bed with a smirk.

 "How was your "outing"?"

 As I shut the door I let out a little laugh.

 "Why would you care?", I ask deciding to tease her a little. I sit on the bed across from her.

 She continues to smirk.

 "If you must know it was a wonderful date", I reply casually.

 "It was a date!', Rydel exclaims.

 "Don't wake up everybody!"

 "I knew it! I knew it", she says quieter, but still in a trumpet tone. "I want details, everything. Tell me everything."

 So I dive into the story of my amazing date. Making sure don't to leave out anything and also telling how I felt. When I'm done Rydel grins.

 "That is so awesome. I knew you were going to tell him it was a date."

 I smile.

 "So how was it kissing my little brother?"

 "Amazing", I reply falling on the bed. "Absolutely amazing."

 Rydle laughs a little. "I'm sure he felt the same way."

 I look up at Rydel and see that she looks like she has another question, but is holding it back.

 "Ask it."

 "Ok fine. What is it like being kissed? I know it sounds so stupid, but I've never been kissed before."

 "It not stupid. Every girl who hasn't been wonders what it's like. Well it's like fire works are going off in your body and um it's hard to explain now that I think about it. Don't worry one day you'll find a perfect guy and he'll kiss you and you'll know what it's like."

 "Yeah someday", she replies falling on the bed. "Sometimes I wish someday would come faster."

 I glance over at Rydel and try to imagine how she feels. It must be hard. She is twenty after all.

 "Well I'm going to go shower", I say as I get up and walk over to the door. "I'll leave you here to day dream about your prince charming."

 When I get out of the shower I change and get in bed. I send a quick text to Sydney and Amy telling them I need to talk to them tomorrow. Almost instantly I get a text from Sydney.

Well then it must be important! Can I have a hint?

Yes. Ross......

WHAT?!?!?

I'll tell you tomorrow.

Fine... :( goodnight

I'm about to lock my phone when Amy texts me.

 Ok. Goodnight.

Gnite :)

I smile and lock my phone. Amy has called me once and texted me only a couple of times this week. She knows how I want to spend every moment with R5. It's been nice, but I need to tell her about Ross tomorrow. I know Sydney will freak. With a smile I fall asleep.

 When I wake up I find that Rydel is missing. What is with her and disappearing? I get up, change, and brush my teeth. When I walk into the kitchen I find a note:

 It's just you and Ross again. A radio is wanting to know if we will do some marathon thing. Everybody went. You know the drill.

 ~Rydel

 I hear footsteps in the hallway and say, "It's just you and me again."

 Slowly I turn around and find Ross shirtless. Personally I think he love's going around like that.

 "What?", he asks with a smirk when he realizes I'm staring at him.

 I laugh. "You are always going around shirtless."

 He smiles and replies, "What does it bother you?"

 "No." I turn around and put the note on the kitchen island. Then I feel Ross' strong arms around my waist.

 He leans next to my ear and whispers, "I think you like it when I go shirtless."

 I smirk. "Maybe."

 He leans down and kisses my neck.

 "You know you look beautiful without makeup."

 I turn around and smile.

 "Really?"

 "Yeah." Then he starts leaning in. "Really beautiful."

 He pulls me to him by my hips. But he doesn't kiss me. He just looks at me and smiles.

 "What are you thinking about?", I ask.

 "I am so happy we are dating."

 "We're dating?", I ask with a smirk.

 "I thought since you said yes to our outing being a date and you kissed me back I just assumed."

 "Well then." I lean in and put my mouth to his. He kisses me back while running his hand up my back till it's between my shoulder blades. I run one had through his hair and one lays limply on his bare chest. Suddenly he picks me up and sits me on the kitchen island without breaking our kiss. Then I hear a faint ring tone and know that's my phone. I pull back because I know it's either Sydney or Amy.

 "Ross my phone", I say jumping down.

Quickly I walk into Rydel's room and grab my phone. It's Sydney. I answer the call as I walk back into the living room.

 "Hey", I say.

 I hear a sob and my heart skips a beat.

 "Sydney are you ok?"

 Ross walks into the room at the sound of my distress.

 "Rinnah", Sydney chokes.

 "What's the matter?", I plead.

 Ross looks at me with a worried look.

 "Rinnah, Amy was in a car crash", she chokes.

 Tears start to form in my eyes and my heart is beating fast.

 "Is she ok?", I croak through the lump that has formed in my throught.

 "She dead", Sydney cries.

 I drop the phone and put a hand over my mouth and sob. My knees weaken and I begin to fall to the ground, but Ross catches me.

 "Rinnah what's wrong?", he pleads.

 All I can do is cry. Amy is gone. Sweet, loving Amy who took me in when my parents died. She's dead. I'll never see her smile again.

 Ross picks up the phone and starts talking but I can't hear what he's saying. The only thing I can think about is Amy is gone.
