We, as humans, have the tendency to believe in our superiority. We believe we are more than, above, not only in comparison to each other, but to nature, to the world. We like to think that we are in control when in fact the world controls us. Humans, incapable of dealing with this fact do everything in our power to ignore it and instead, manipulate the world in an attempt to gain the illusion that we actually have power, that we can tame the living, strong, beautiful beast that is nature, when in reality, we are mere specks of powerless fluffy dust floating through nature's world, mistreating the little strength we have against her. Using it to destroy her, take advantage, abuse the astounding beauty, life, she gives us. Yet she still graces us with her life. Despite our attacks, she grants us the privilege of her experience.
