Sing me to sleep(Jungkook)

You sighed as you trudged your way down the street, kicking a stone that was in your way, aside.

You had the absolute worst day ever.

First of all, you woke up late and literally ran to school, forgetting to grab breakfast.
Next you forgot you had leftover homework to finish and landed yourself in detention.
After that your hopes of a partially good day were crushed as you were assigned a group project with the meanest, most stuck up girls in your class.
Last of all, your previously mentioned detention, was an hour long and had to be spent with the strictest teacher ever and the school bully, Jason.
It was pure torture.

The only hopes of wearing off your stress of a horrible was coming home to your boyfriend, Jungkook.

Unfortunately, you didn't exactly enjoy walking so your pace was pretty sluggish.
Eventually, though, you made it home and all your heart desired was to face plant onto your soft bed and sleep for hours, forgetting your troubles in the process.

"Good evening Princess, How was your day?" You heard Jungkook's sweet voice resonating from the living room as you entered the house. You turned to him an gave him a weak smile. His smile then turned into a concerned expression as his eyebrows knitted together.

Jungkook realised something was definitely wrong and before inquiring, he embraced you in a warm, loving hug, your head resting on his chest.

"What's wrong princess?" He whispered into your hair.
You sighed and buried your face deeper into his chest.
"I had the absolute worst day ever! Everything and I mean everything went wrong today, I just wanna sleep, hopefully I won't get that wrong too."
"Awww..don't worry baby it's never too late to turn your day around."

You broke the hug and he lead you to the couch, where he proceeded to sit down and patted his lap for you to lie on it.

You gladly accepted and laid your head on his lap, closing your eyes. Jungkook then started gently caressing your hair. Taking a breath, he begun to sing, his cover of 'nothing like us' as he knew it would calm you down.

As he drew his last note, he heard light snores coming from you and saw your chest heaving up and down slightly, your lips were curved into a slight smile.

Jungkook smiled as he stared at your beautiful face, rubbing your cheek slightly with his thumb. He then bent down and pressed a kiss onto your forehead, whispering those words you knew made your day A-okay.

"I love you Princess"
