Missing him (Jimin)

The way his eyes sparkle when he smiles.

The way his eyes crinkle like a baby when he laughs.

The way his body sways rhythmically toward  the song when he's dancing.

The way is his eyes flutter and his passion for music is evident.

The way his chubby cheeks turn a crimson hue and he giggles cutely when complimented.

All of that...

All of him...

You missed it..

You missed him.

Ever since your boyfriend, Park Jimin had died in a car crash about a year and a half ago, your life took a turn for the worst.

Sleepless nights staring at the ceiling as your memories and thoughts whirled like a tornado inside your scattered mess of a head.
Twisting and turning, watching the cars whizz by as the street lights above flickered every once in a while.

The ambience in the house was now cold and lonely.

The days just dragged on...

Like a cycle you were forced to repeat as thoughts drained your already heavy heart and tired mind.

Your will to be active and make something out of your life was hanging by a thread.
An anonymous demon waiting until your last straw, with a pair of scissors to cut the measly thread.

It was tiring to carry out your everyday life, tired, bored, and dead inside.
You couldn't even muster a simple smile anymore and if you managed it only lasted for two seconds until your face resumed it's now signature frown.

If anyone made eye contact with you for more than a second...
They'd notice the void in the pitch blackness of your eyes.
They'd notice the longing, the misery, the solitude and torture you had to deal with it.

Jimin was the only one you had.

The only that had actually cared for you.
The only one who motivated you to carry out your dreams.
The only one who would constantly pester you to make sure that you were okay.
The only one that loved you more than anything else.

He was the only one who never gave up on you.
The one who made your life sweeter and opened up a brighter, sunnier side to life.

That boy with the soothing, silky voice who made you laugh and made life so much more worthwhile.
Gosh how you missed hearing him whisper sweet nothings into your ear or make weird imitations and faces to make you laugh.

The blonde boy who was always there for you and never left your side.
Whose adventurous yet immature personality got you both into trouble or just created bunches of dear memories.

Park jimin was the only one who understood you...
The only one who would give anything for you to be happy...

That same boy with the eye smile so contagious it could brighten a huge stadium in a matter of minutes.

He was gone...
Drifting up to the heavens above and now watching over you.

You cursed the truck driver who was so careless to pummel your boyfriend's car and take his life.

He was the only one keeping you sane and balanced.
Now that he was gone...you fell into a depression...
A dark, mopey state, a permanent frown fixated on your droopy face.

You hated every second of living as no one was around to help you or even to make you smile.

But, you kept on living and pushing yourself so that you could make Jimin proud.

Sometimes while doing chores or studying you'd feel a warm presence in the house although you were the only one there.

It was comforting and easily recognizable as Jimin's aura.
It never left the house.
It was there.
Although you only really felt it sometimes, you knew it was there.

You always thought of it as jimin's way of reminding you that he was still here for you so that you'd work hard and make something out of your life to make him proud.

Flashbacks of some fun times you've had with Jimin suddenly raced through your mind and you had to hit yourself lightly so you wouldn't cry.

You sighed and ruffled your hair, tying it into a loose ponytail.
You've been thinking about Jimin for a while now and your heart hurts.

You had to something to keep your mind off of him.
You coincidentally glanced at your cupboard and remembered that you had to restock on some groceries.

With a grocery list in hand and your wallet, you marched out of your house and to the grocery store.

When you were done with your shopping, you decided to walk back home.

While on the way, you got distracted and accidentally bumped into someone, dropping two of your grocery bags.

"Omg I'm so sorry!" You said to the boy who you bumped into.

"Its okay! It happens!" He says sweetly as he bends down to pick up the bags and raises his head.

Upon seeing his face, you let out a gasp, as your eyes widen and mouth drops agape.

"JIMIN!?!?!?!"
