A Vampire's Heart:

Chapter 1:

Hey there! 

I'm Kimberly and I'm a sixteen year old girl. I have shoulder length dark brown hair, chocolate brown eyes, and tan skinned.

I love to read, draw, write stories. Also I love to watch cartoons and anime but I try to learn especially my favorite subjects History, Science, and Reading.

I sit up in my bed yawning and stretching then I go into the bathroom to get cleaned up.

After I get all cleaned up I change from my pj's which is a pink gown with red hearts that sparkle and black sweat pants into a white tank top, blue jeans with sparkles on the bottom, and my lucky pink and black sneakers.

"Kimmy! Time to eat!" My mother yelled. I grabbed my backpack and yelled back "Coming Mom!" then I walk in the living room then to the dining room.

Oh yeah I live on the bottom floor...that way it'll be quicker to get in and out when I have school.

I saw my mom cooking breakfast while my dad was trying to keep my little sibs Julie and Jack to stop fighting as usual. They all saw me and smiled. 

"Hey sweetie" My father said happily. I walked towards him and hugged him "Good morning Dad!" I replied sweetly. Then I go into the kitchen to help mom out with the food. 

"You know you don't have to do that" Mom teased. I smiled then said "Yeah...but I like helping you and dad out when I can". She smiled then patted my head as we went to the dining room to put the food on the table.

 We all talked and ate together at the table. Jack told about his latest prank that involved jelly, ballons, and feathers. Julie and me laughed our heads off when Jack got totally busted by mom and dad. 

Then after breakfast Julie, Jack, and I headed out to go to school. Jack went to Elementary school (he's in 5th grade) and Julie went to Middle School (she's in 7th).

But me since I'm the oldest and sixteen I'm in 10th grade going on 11th.

When I finally got High School, I saw that my friends were waiting for me. Nina was the shortest of all of us (she is 5'2 ft).

She has honey blonde hair that was a pixie cut, hazel eyes, and light tan skinned. She is the fashionista of the group and she makes the cutest outfits all by herself. 

Taylor was our tomboy of the group. She has long black hair that she puts up in a braid, silver eyes, and dark skinned. She lives to do all kinds of sports such as: skateboarding, dirt bike riding, etc. 

The only boy in our group is Logan.

He has dirty blonde hair, one eye was green while the other blue, and light skinned. We called him the boy genius and for good reason.

He often would create new experiments and inventions to help further knowledge although it doesn't go all that well. 

"Hey Kimmy what's up?!" Taylor asked waving at me. I waved back and smiled "Nothing much same old stuff...what about you?" I replied.

Taylor explained about her new move she learned on her skateboard and that we all she go see it sometime.

Nina talked about her new fashion statements is going to be next year which will be a combination of warm and cool colors together.

While Logan talked about how his new invention which is a robot didn't work as planned due to not having enough energy.

"I'm working on a new story and also new drawings and I bet they're going to be awesome when I get done with them" I told them. Nina raised an eyebrow "How come you hadn't got them done?" she asked. 

I blinked then put my hands on the back of my neck "Umm...well you see I hadn't had time and now since we're going to have summer break tommorrow I finally have time" I laughed nervously.

Logan nodded then said "Well come on girls we got to get to class".
