I couldn't help but think about that boy from last night.

I tried to think about other things or distract myself....

But nothing...I'm still thinking about him.

To be honest it was weird? A boy who randomly came into my room and told me that he was running away but had to leave.

It seemed like he missed his home. Maybe he went back home with his family? But why would he leave if he felt that way?

But still...it was unbelievable of how fast that boy was and agile?! It was as though he was something that was out of this world?!

"Hey Kimmy!" a voice yelled I turn around to see Nina, Logan, and Taylor smiling at me. I smiled and waved, they waved back. "Hey guys!" I yelled back.

They walk towards me and were telling me about what's going on at school. But Logan must have noticed my expression because he said "You okay there?".

I blinked and looked at all my friends who were giving me concern looks.

"I'm fine don't worry about me" I replied then they waited for me to say anything else then I said "Just thinking is all".

They all nodded and one by one grabbed me by the arm.

"Come silly it's time for class!" Taylor said happily. They laughed and I couldn't help but laugh too...they always made me feel better even if they're crazy at times.

So after school, Taylor wanted us to check out her latest moves on her skateboard and so we followed her to the skate park.

"Now...check this out!" Taylor said with excitement and she jumps right in the ramp.

She done 360 turn on the ramp while riding backwards.

Then she made air and landed with her knee on the ramp and grabbed her skateboard. She almost fell over but she made it through.

We all clapped for her. "That was awesome!" We yelled. Taylor chuckles and picks up her skateboard. "Thanks guys" Taylor says happily.

So after we ate at a fast food restaurant, all of us went our seperate ways and head home.

It was getting dark and for some reason I felt more uneasy than usual.

I guess it was because of the strange feeling of being watched and the boy from last night. So I walk down the trail to my home which wasn't very far but quite a walk.

I felt goosebumps on my arm as I heard rustling in the bushes. I try to walk slowly then start to run, hopefully not get caught from whatever that was.

I look back for a second and didn't see or hear anything...I smirked. Looks like I beat it before it could get me I thought to myself.

As I ran, I noticed something dark and fast was coming right at me! I tried to get out of the way but it was too fast and knocked me down to the ground.

"Oww..." I groan, rubbing my head. "Are you alright?" a voice that sounded like a boy's asked.

I look up to see a boy with shaggy blonde hair, bluish green eyes, and pale skinned. He was sitting beside me.  He looked concerned about me but it felt weird of how close we were.

So I back up and nod. "That's good" he says happily and smiles. He gets up and hands out his hand. I take it and he helps me up.

"Thanks...but I gotta go" I told him. But I didn't notice a tree right in front of me because I was looking at the boy. "Oww again!" I yell.

He runs to me "You okay?" he asks again. I nod "Yeah just some blood but nothing major" I replied as I wipe my bloody nose.

"i-I'm sorry" he tells me. I raise an eyebrow "Sorry for wha-" but I was cut off when he bites me on the neck!

"Aaah! g-Get off me!" I stutter and managed to push him off me. He backs up with my blood on his lips, licking it.

I take the collar of my shirt and look at the bite wound...that's weird...it's tiny and you can't really tell it's there at all?

"Why did you do that?!" I asked. He tries to come towards me but I back away... "I can explain" He replies softly.

"Well you better start explaining before I start throwing rocks at you" I tell him...then I realized that threat wasn't really that threatening at all...

"You probably won't believe me but-" but I cut him off by saying "But what?!". "I'm a...vampire" He tells me.

I look at him not sure what to think...I mean sure I believed in fantasy or mythical creatures but I never actually saw one...but this seems a little out there.

"That's crazy! I mean no one has ever proven vampires are real-" but he cuts me off by getting in my face and says "That's because we often are in hiding".

I felt my body tense and I tried to move but couldn't. The boy looks around and he looks nervous...why would he be nervous? He could easily take down a guy bigger than him?!

He looks me in the eyes...I tried to look away but I couldn't look away. Suddenly I felt my eyes getting droopy.

"It's okay...don't worry" He tells him softly. And the last thing I saw was the boy's face who was looking at me in concern...
