After his eerie experience with the Raven, Seishiro managed to escape the building. But things couldn't be that easy. Nothing is ever easy. Special agents fully armed surrounded the area.

"Drop your weapons and get slowly down on your knees!", one agent used a loudspeaker.

Seishiro had just come out of the sewers. The door the Raven had indicated was an emergency exit through the sewers nearby. But, of course, unfortunately, the government had the blueprints of the entire facility. Including the emergency exits. He was trapped.

"You must escape no matter how! Otherwise, we'll be in HUGE trouble with the government!", Alina talked through the PTT.

"Easy to say...", Seishiro whispered to himself.

He had found himself surrounded by 50 armed agents, all spotting him. There were helicopters, dogs and troops of agents all over the perimeter. He was nearly blinded by the spotlights and the countless sniper laser targets. Escape was difficult. Not without many casualties.

"Drop your weapon and GET on your knees!", the agent repeated.

Suddenly, an explosive arrow landed on the street in front of Seishiro. He got the message. He quickly jumped behind a nearby car. The arrow exploded, causing a mess of fire and smoke. Some agents were killed, some others started shooting around. Seishiro looked at a nearby field. Tsuki was standing there, spotting the agents with a bow. He grabbed the chance. He made a roll over his shoulder and threw two four-point shuriken stars onto an agent's knees. The agent screamed in agony as the throwing stars crashed into his bones. Seishiro deployed the Kurokiba. He ran towards the agent and decapitated him. The severed head rolled on the bloody asphalt as the lifeless body dropped. Another agent shot at Seishiro who stepped on the slowly falling body and jumped towards him. He charged his sword and stabbed the oncoming agent so strongly on his chest that the blade penetrated his black Kevlar armor. Blood sprayed all over Seishiro's garments and face as he pulled the sword out. One of the agents raised his hand to his ear and pushed a button on a PTT radio.

"Sir?", the agent answered to a call.

A commander was talking to him, obviously. What the agent was told was unknown. "Yes, sir!", the agent replied. "CEASE FIRE!", he loudly ordered the remaining agents. "FALL BACK! I REPEAT! FALL BACK!"

The agents were falling back for an unexplainable reason. Seishiro got troubled. "Why did they back off?", he thought. What or who did stop them?

"What did just happen?", he asked Alina.

"I've...", Alina struggled shocked through the PTT. "...totally...no idea. ...It seems they received a command to abort. To just let you go. ...Just like that?!"

Tsuki approached Seishiro. "Seishiro? What happened?", she asked, as well troubled of that behavior.

"I don't know.", Seishiro answered perplexed. "It seems someone recalled them."

"Did you find the Stone?", Tsuki asked.

"...No. But I think I know where it is."

The agent troops were just standing there, in some distance, staring at them. Seishiro had a guess, though. If the Raven was working for the Siren, then, she was informed. But why did she let him take the only weapon that could kill her? It didn't make any sense.

The helicopter landed down at some distance. Alina opened its door.

"Seishiro! Over here!", she shouted.

"Seishiro, we must go to Nagano.", Tsuki said.

"Didn't you?", Seishiro wondered.

She had said she had already gone. Tsuki became nervous. She had totally forgotten what she had said. She had messed things up a little bit.
