"For the thousandth time today, Tyler, I do not like you." I angrily say at a very persistent boy that's very well just trying to get into my pants.

He puts both of his hands on the lockers behind me, almost as if he were trying to trap me, and gives me a fuck-boy pout.

"But baaaabyy, please. You don't even need to like me, I just want you to come to Khalil's party with me." He says and I wince.

"First of all," I start, removing one of his hands from the locker next to me so I can get out. "I am not your baby and second of all, I don't even hang out with Khalil. What makes you think I want to go to one of his damn parties?"

Removing his hands completely, he looks at me and sighs. "Come on, Ona , please." He pleads once more, starting to finally get the hint that I don't want to go to a damn party tomorrow night.

Although parties are nice and I mean, your girl here loves to party and let loose, but I just don't want to be showing up to someone's random party, basically inviting myself in, and having all these strangers around.

On the bright side of that, they're a bunch of strangers there so if I do anything embarrassing, I more than likely will never see them in person again.

You see Khalil, the one hosting the party, is notorious for having them after the last game of football every year. Although he graduated last year, he still continues to throw the parties which absolutely makes no sense but no one ever questions it - a party is a party after all.

Sighing, I take another look at Tyler and actually question myself if I'm really going to turn down a fun party. Saying no to this means I'm just turning him down, right? Not the actual party invitation?

"I'll think about it," I start, "if I were to say yes, when does the party start?"

His face automatically starts to glow when I didn't reject him this time and looks for the piece of paper with all the details of the party on it.

"It sayssss...." He longs, unfolding the piece of paper. "Ummm 8."

"And it's tomorrow?" I confirm.

"Yes, id love to see you there Bell, please."

"I might go, but that doesn't mean I'm fuck you, got it?"

I nod at him, re-adjusting my strap on my bag, I turn around without waiting for an answer and I start to walk to lunch.

Slightly hearing a sigh from Tyler behind me, I smile and look down to look at my pocket. Taking my phone out, I realise that Tyler had basically took up all of my lunchtime to beg me to go to the party.

With only seven minutes left of lunch, I rush over to the other side of the building to at least get my lunch before they start to shut everything down.

For being an older school that was constructed back in the sixties, the halls are pretty nice, except for the occasional rude ass couples who love to eat faces and dry hump each other in the halls.

The hall is split straight down the middle with gray lockers so it's basically like two hallways but the wall separating them are lockers.

On the right of the walls, they're covered with bright pastel green doors marking that's where the classrooms are. Between the doors of the different classrooms, there's pictures of either former students who actually did something with their lives or famous landmarks such as Yellowstone or nice things like The Andes Mountains.

You'd be surprised how little people's faces are actually on these walls.

One of the only people that is actually famous on these walls is Mark Gate; he was the creator of InstaNet so that's kind of cool I guess.

Hearing the noise pick up of kids laughing, talking, and playing music, I take a huge sigh and push open one of the double doors so I walk into the cafeteria.

Why do they close these doors during lunch - the world may never know.

As I start to walk to the far side of the cafeteria, I hear the 'popular' table get quiet a little as I walk past them, making me a little self conscious. I feel myself want to look down and walk away from all this already.

Glancing at their table, I notice some of the boys were staring at me, some girls were giving me death glares, and other boys were just on their phones, completely oblivious that everyone around the table got quiet.

I blush a little as I hear one of the whistle at me. I know it probably wasn't even for me and I'm just overreacting, but it's still nice to at least pretend people think I'm pretty.

I finally get to the end of the long cafeteria and I am immediately greeted with one of the workers seeing as how everyone already got their food and there wasn't a line in any of the windows.

The school here serves the same thing every single day, which has its perks.

There's the spicy chicken burger, a cheese or pepperoni pizza, a number one which is a salad, a number two which is a turkey sandwich with a cup of peaches, or a number three which includes chicken noodle soup with some steamed broccoli.

"Pepperoni pizza, please." I say to the lunch lady as I put my finger down so it can be scanned.
A few years ago, they changed from asking us to input our ID numbers to actually having us just show our fingerprints because of the multiple times someone would use someone else's number so they can get a second lunch.

Stupid, I know, but effective.

In the black tray located on the right of the fingerprint scanner, there's some milks in there, usually white, chocolate, and strawberry. I grab the strawberry one and a cup of frozen strawberries as well, along with a green apple.

Handing me my plate, I smile gratefully at her and I start to walk away and to an empty table.

Now, I normally don't eat lunch inside but due to how late I was, I didn't really have to go all the way outside on the benches.

As soon as I sat down though, the bell continuously rang and I just sighed. I stuffed my spork and strawberries into my bag for later and I picked up the pizza and milk, throwing away the tray underneath.

"It's only noon," I say to myself, taking a huge bite out of pizza and walking towards the exit. "Just two more hours to go."
