{Sophia's p.o.v.}

I had texted the group a little bit ago to let them know Jacks “little secret”. No one really seemed that excited, but Jaeden and Wyatt just proved me wrong. Finn seemed, I don't know, a tad bit defendant. I decide to text him privately.

sophia: hey finn, everything thing all right? you good?

finn: yea im good sophia, why.

sophia: idk you just seemed, well, idrk because you only responded to the group chat with “...”

finn: im fine, ok? don't look too much into things

sophia: wow, ok. you don't have to be all defendant. unless… you're hiding something

finn: jesus, sophia! i don't, ok! just, leave me alone and don't butt in to my personal life

sophia: ok bye finn

I stare at my phone in shock. What was wrong with Finn? He’s been quiet, for the most part, not yet sharing many feelings. Not yet being vulnerable in any way. But Finn showed much emotion in his texts. The way he responded made him sound angry. And maybe he was. But at me, or at someone else?
