chapter 8

Sorry everyone I made another change at the beginning of chapter 4!

Levy

She ran home as fast as she could and locked the door. She fell on her bed and cried into her pillow.

Gajeel's been so busy and she barely see's him like an hour every three days.

Why does he keep going out on jobs? She asked herself sitting up.

Her door bell rang and she quickly whipped away her tears and ran to it. She'd hoped it was Gajeel running after her, but when she opened it it was Snow.

"Oh hi Snow," she said letting her in.

"Hi Levy! Thank you so much for letting me stay with you, it means a lot that you trust me!" Snow said smiling.

"Well I'm worried about Damien too," Levy managed to smile at Snow even though all she wanted to do was cry.

Snow nodded, "so I found that guy that I heard about the stone from and he was just gossiping about what his friend found. And that guy, his name is Joe, came out here for a job." She put her bags down on Levy's sofa.

"What job?" Levy asked thinking about all the jobs Gajeel was going on.

"Some series of murders thats been happening around here, do you know anything about it?"

"Oh Yea! These people have been attacking wizards in weaker guilds and actually killing them! But if you want to find a guy who's trying to find them, you'll have to try to find them yourself." Levy said sitting next to Snow. "If it was me I'd be looking up in the mountains and the streets at night, if you want I can help you find this guy."

"I'd love your help!"

"So tonight we can go around looking for this Joe guy, that's his name right?"

Snow nodded, "at least that's what I heard."

"Do you know anything about him?" Levy asked trying to get a mental image of Joe.

"He keeps to himself, and he's in the same guild as me," Snow answered.

Levy was kinda happy she could help Snow and get her mind off of Gajeel.

That night

Levy had fun talking to Snow all day, but now they had to get serious. They went into town and searched he street when they found some wizards in the guild Sea Glass,they were completely drunk and looking for trouble.

"Have you guys seen a wizard name Joe? He might be hanging around wizards like you to find whoever has been murdering the weaker wizards," Snow said bluntly.

"We ain't no weak wizards!" one of the guys said.

"Yea we can take on ANYONE!" another guy yelled.

"Idiots," Snow said under her breath.

"We need to find him so if you've seen him could you please tell us?" Levy said trying to be nice even though they were pissing her off.

"Oi, you're cute," the first guy said.

"And she's a fairy tail wizard," a third guy said.

"How about you come with us honey?" the second guy said putting his arm around Levy.

"How about you tell us if you've seen him or not!" Snow yelled grabbing his arm and pulling it off Levy. He tried to pull out of her grip but she tightened it and burned him with a dark stinging light.

He cried out, "Like we know who you're talking about!"

"She's crazy!" the third guy said backing up.

"I can take her!" the first guy said running up to Snow. He grabbed his bracelet and bent it into a hook.

Snow punched him in the face and he fell over.

"Damn she took out Tony!" the second guy pulled away from Snow and they all ran off.

"Well that was helpful," Levy said sarcastically putting her hands on her hips.

"So I hear your looking for me?" a guy said manifesting from the shadows.

"Are you Joe?" Snow asked.

"I am," he stepped out of the darkness.

"Did you find a stone that turns people to dragons?" Snow asked.

"Who told you that?" he said looking confused.

"Some drunk at the guild, I'm Snow by the way."

"I didn't find the stone but I did find a book on it, he must have gotten confused, but the stone does not exist." Joe said.

"Then why would they kidnap Damien if it doesn't exist?" Levy asked.

"Hm?" Joe looked at Levy, "Damien was kidnapped?"

"Yea two days ago," Snow answered.

"I'm Levy by the way," Levy walked over and shock his hand.

"Nice to met you I'm Joe," he smiled. "But if he's gone missing at the same time as this murderer, we need to find him before something bad could happen."

"We?" Snow raised and eye brow at him.

"Yes, we." He answered.
