Kid's POV

I woke up 8 at exactly in the morning. I quickly got dressed and hurriedly rushed out the door to the DWMA. "Why am I so excited to go to school? I usually dread going there," I thought to myself. As I was walking into the DWMA I saw the light brown haired girl and white haired boy duo. "Hey Maka. Hey Soul. What're you guys up too.

"Well we're going to school obviously," Soul said sarcastically. I couldn't help but smile.

"Whatever soul," I replied, lightly punching.

"Ow. Kid that hurt," the red eyed boy said flashing a smile. I laughed slightly and walked inside. I sat down in my seat next to Soul as class started. I looked at Soul and zoned out. Aside from his asymmetrical clothes and hair style, Soul looks kinda cute. What am I thinking I'm not gay. My thoughts were interrupted when my arm was shoved.

"Kid, Stein asked you a question," Soul whispered to me. I looked at Stein confused.

"H-huh. What'd you say Stein." I felt my face turning red from embarrassment.

"I asked if you were paying attention," the white haired teacher said. I nodded and he continued. "Now that everyone's paying attention," he shot a look at me," I have an announcement to make. All students at the DWMA will be required to stay in a dorm here at the school." All the students started to cheer. "The dorm partners will be chosen by me though." Everyone stopped cheering and booed. "You're dorm rooms and partners will be posted right here." He stood up and put a piece of paper on the wall.

Everyone stood up and started to run to the list. Some people were happy. Others...not so much. I finally reached the list and saw that I was dorm partners with Soul. I immediately started smiling like a dope. Why am I smiling like this. I felt an arm wrap around my shoulder.

"Looks like we're dorm buddies Kid," Soul said giving me a bright smile. "Well gotta go get my stuff from my house. See ya later." I waved and watched him run off to his house. I eventually left to get my things.
