I slowly start to wake up, a white light blinds my eyes so I try again. I successfully open my eyes to see I'm in a white room with no particles and I can finally breathe properly. I look over to see Johnathon sitting there, I touch his hand " Are you okay " he looks up at me and laughs but hugs me tightly, " am I okay, seriously. I missed you buddy " He says to me, I'm so happy to be back. " can i see my friends ? " I ask him, he looks at me and smiles while nodding the door swings open to reveal 3 boys running in. " BYERS " they all scream and tackle me into a hug which makes me cough and they all look at me with a worried glance. " I'm fine " I manage to say towards them, wait a minute. Where the heck is Y/n. My mum stands there at the door watching us smiling when Y/n's mum and dad comes through the door holding flowers bringing it to another bed next to mine, but it's behind a curtain. The boys look just as confused as me, she must be behind there. " Mom, can I see her ? " I ask my mom she looks at me with a look of sorrow, what the heck. She nods and goes behind the curtain I hear mumbling behind the curtains and they start opening through curtains and when they do my heart stops, " shit, shit " I hear Dustin and Lucas swear under their breaths. She looks terrible.

" M-Mom what happened " I said barley above a whisper my face probably pale, she looks really bad like that thing really did get her. " She wasn't breathing and she had a weak heartbeat, the monster thing clawed her face and her arm she has lost a lot of blood Will Also something hit her hard in the back of her head. I'm sorry honey but she is in a coma " My mom explains to me, the whole world stops and all I can see is her. That should have been me I should have been in a coma not her she doesn't desverve it. I didn't realise I was crying until I felt arms wrap around me. The boys also crying, she could never wake up but I know she will she is a fighter. " she'll be okay buddy, I know it " Mike said to reassure me as he rubbed my arm up and down, me still crying. " she is my girlfriend " they all look at me in shock but happiness even Y/n's folks look happy. " And when did this happen " Johnathon remarks as he smirks at me, as does the rest of the boys. " When we were there. We were both so scared and we - We um kissed " I said and they all started snickering I just rolled my eyes and faced back towards Y/n she looks extremely pale from that environment.
A doctor comes in the room and we all turn to look at him, " I'm just here to check up on Y/n " he says to us but we continue to look at him but he just goes over to her. He stays over there for a while, talking to her parents. I keep watching them as everyone else are talking while sitting down. I keep watching them talk and they all turn towards me and nod I shoot my mum a worried glance and she catches it, I nod my head towards the doctor and Y/n's parents. She walks over there to ask them what's happening, she also looks at me and smiles. I'm so confused. The doctor comes over to me, " Hey will we need you help " I look at them confused as I furrowed my eyes, I look at my mum and she nods. " With what ? " I ask the doctor with a worried tone. " Y/n we are gonna push your bed next to hers. She needs to wake up and your gonna help with that " the doctor says to me and I smile and nod in return I get a chorus of Awes from the boys and Johnathon along with Nancy when did she get here ....

My bed is next to Y/n's still and I hope it stays like that for a while. My hand is laced with hers but her hand is not responsive so I'm just holding her hand. They boys were telling me about a girl named eleven, she's the girl that came to me and saved our lives but apparently she's gone or something. " I can't wait till we can play dungeons and dragons again " Dustin says with his lisp that he gets so much shit for. " What else happened ? " I ask them, they look at each other and smile. " Well they found you guys bodies but they weren't really you guys though, they were fake and we had a funeral and everything. You guys are Gonna be all over the news " Lucas says happy I look at him and shrug while rolling my eyes, " Not helping " Mike says to Lucas and he shuts up. We all look over to Y/n with a sad expression. " I know she will make it though this. She is so strong and has been through all of this I know it wasn't there but I know she was tough. She been my best friend since kindergarten, and I love her " Mike says tears brimming his eyes the same with mine, we all care for her so much she's been with us through everything. I give her hand one more squeeze. We all keep talking until they have to go and I fall asleep holding her hand.
