The Walking Dead Season 5: Episode 5: Fight together

Scene 2: Reluctant teamwork

"Who are you?!?" Rick whispered fiercely. "I know who you are! You attacked us!" said who appeared to be the leader. A somewhat young brunet woman with dark eyes. "Wait are you from the church?!? What are you doing here?!?" Rick demanded. "We're here  to rescue Heath, he came here earlier today, and didn't come back when he was supposed to, so we're here for him." "Well, we'r here to rescue someone too, so just stay out of our way. Why did Heath want to come here anyways?" "To end this place." said one of the church citizens. "Could you just imagine how much safer this world would be without this place? Think about it, there's a chance to destroy Terminus, and you're a part of it, we could put our differences aside for the time being, pull together and win." Rick looks at his group for approval after the woman's speech, when they all look at him waiting for a decision, he nods his head.

"Alright, but our friends come first." said Rick. "Very well." the woman replied. "What's your name?" Rick asked. "Danielle." the woman said. "Okay, Danielle, how about you come with me along with Tyreese and Daryl here through the north side, send two of your people along with Michonne and Bob to the east side, send three people along with Glenn here to the west side, put another three people with Beth pounding in from the south side, Maggie, Carol, and two more of your people will attack from all corners using sniper rifles to give us an aerial advantage. Once we all clear our respective sides of Terminus we meet in the middle, and begin the search party. Everybody got it?" Everyone nods and acknowledges Rick with murmurs of assent. "Alright then, let's go.  Carol, Maggie, and two other church citizens line up on each corner with sniper rifles, and get ready to shoot. Rick, Daryl, Tyreese, and Danielle approach the north side, Michonne, Bob, and two other church people apprach the east side, Glenn leads three church people to approach the west, and Beth leads three church people to approach the south. Rick, Glenn, Michonne, and Beth all take out a pair of gardening scissors, and slowly begin cutting holes big enough in the fence for everyone to fit through. The four small groups are about an equal 100 yards apart from each other.

Rick finishes cutting the fence, and leads the three to take cover behind a boxcar. "OK now Tyreese." Tyreese lights a stick of dynamite and tosses it towards a group of boxcars, blowing some of them apart and sending the dozen guards there into chaos. Three of them are then picked off by sniper fire, as Rick, Tyreese, Daryl, and Danielle begin shooting at them. Three more guards fall in the confusion as Terminus people begin rushing out from buildings armed. Sniper rifle fire attacks the four, Terminus was prepared for them, but then again Rick was also prepared. A rocket from a rocket launcher then attacks where the sniping is coming from. Shooting then comes at the four of them from all directions. They run throughout Terminus, trying to get to the center, they shoot at every passing Terminus citizen. Gunfire comes at them from the left, right, above, behind, everywhere. Rick motions for them to get behind a boxcar, they hide behind there, letting the boxcar absorb all the gunfire. "Who fired that rocket launcher?!? That wasn't part of the plan was it?!?" Daryl yelled over the gunfire. "No, it wasn't, but I'm not complaining!" said Rick. Just then, Michonne and Bob come out from the east side and help stop the gunfire. The four come out and meet them. "You cleared the east side?" Rick asked. Michonne nodded. "Lost those two though." she said.

"That's fine." said Rick. They turn around and open the boxcar, and let out the church people trapped in there, "Go grab their guns and help us!" Rick yelled. The church people scatter and pick up fallen Terminus citizens weapons and begin firing. Terminus citizens begin firing at close range, and Michonne moves like a ninja, she shoots down two Terminus citizens then swiftly stabs two with her sword from behind at the same time. The six of them run towards the center of Terminus. Where they meet Beth, Glenn, and four other church people. They are now a group of 24 huddled in a circle, firing at the Terminus citizens. They seem to be everywhere. On top of buildings, on top of boxcars, even perched on window sills. Rick nails on a rooftop, and he falls and crashes into an old car, causing it's alarm to go off. Walkers begin to stalk towards Terminus, growling and snarling, sinking their teeth into Terminus and Church citizens alike. Tyreese begins pounding the car with his hammer to try and stop the alarm, but the most he can do is just muffle it. "Forget it, Come on!" Daryl yelled. The group had now dwindled down to 21, due to the walker invasion.

The group then ducks behind another boxcar to take cover, avoiding bullets. Glenn and Beth alternate behind the corner shotgun blasts at the Terminus citizens. All of a sudden,  another rocket hits the area behind them, giving them more space to run again. The 21 of them run throughout Terminus, opening boxcars most of them empty, but a few resulting in  people, but  none of Rick's group.  "Where could they possibly be?!?" said Bob. Rick looks around and sees large building that is clearly meant to be the "Capital" of Terminus. "In there!" said Rick, pointing at the building. They try to run towards it, but more gunfire attacks them from all directions and they are forced to take cover behind boxcar, three more church citizens get shot, leaving with them with a force of 18. "We're losing too many people!" Beth yelled. Rick pumps his shotgun and quickly turns around the corner of the boxcar, he nails a Terminus citizen, blood leaping from his chest. "We're never going to get past at this rate!" Glenn yelled, shooting his rifle around back at the terminus citizens.

Rick pulls a grenade from his belt and pulls the pin out with his teeth, he rolls it around the boxcar, it explodes, sending the Terminus people into disarray.  The 18 of them shoot at the Terminus citizens, killing several of them. Sniper fire then begins taking out the ones on the rooftops in perfect timing. Giving them a clear path to the building. Rick heads over, opens the door, and lets everyone run inside, then goes in himself.
