{ narration }
"why are you here?" nari asked.
"i wanted to talk to you."
"what is it about?" she asked while cleaning the glass she used.
she's happy talking to him but she's happier he's talking to her.
"i'm sorry about how i acted earlier." hwiyoung said with a soft voice. his head kept low so nari couldn't see his face.
she was worried. she thought something was going on. she reached out for his face but hwiyoung grasped her wrist. so nari used her other hand to cup his cheek.
caressing his cheek with her finger, it sent him many emotions and messages. but only words nari should speak could make things clear.
to her surprise though he moved slowly, hwiyoung put her hand onto his cheek making both of her hands covering his cheeks.
"i hate to say it but i think i love you nari."
it took seconds for nari to digest those words. did she hear it right?
he uttered only a few words but it made her mind blank.
he slowly lifted his eyes to see her face. she was staring blankly at him. it shows that she was confused.
not thinking it might hurt him. he still did it.
he leaned closer and captured her lips with his eyes closed. he felt her flinch but he didn't let go of her.
slowly, his lips moved but she remained frozen.
letting go of the kiss, he stared at her again.
"i hope my heart reaches yours."
