{ narration }

she ran going there. she ran back here. she made a way for her to earn money not to give her parents more burden of sending her money though they said it's alright.

"thank you, nari." the old woman uttered. she asked nari to buy freshly baked bread from the bakery at the corner of the street.

the young lady smiled warmly at the woman before leaving.

but the old woman forgot something so she asked her to go back quick.

"here. have it. it's still warm and it's too early in the morning when you started to run some errands. i'm sure you haven't have your breakfast?" nari shyly nodded. the old woman was correct.

"don't forget to take care of your body, my dear." then the old woman bid good bye.

before crossing the street, nari stared dreamily at the boys' house. they haven't returned. it has already been almost a week.

where could they be?

nari finished the whole bread. rubbing her hand against her pants to get rid of traces of the bread, she sniffed before hugging herself with her arms.

"it's summer. why do i feel cold?" she thought.

looked to her left, and looked at her right. the road was clear.

she took short yet heavy steps forward. but next thing she knew, the world was moving quick — rather moving randomly getting her dizzy.

soon she heard blowing of horns of a vehicle.
