Tomorrow was my "deadline". I was going to turn the tables on them in an instant. Thankfully, the engineers and scientists have made some amazing advancements in armor and vehicle technology thanks to unrestricted access to funds. The soldiers were equipped with the newest armor suits that allow for maximum mobility and agility. We even have robotic researchers and builders now, it's a massive loop. More robots, more progress. Linda wasn't very enthused about this idea of an uprising, but I managed to convince her somehow. Same with Warechu; he was way more excited about this than I thought. I was walking through the base when I was stopped by an engineer.
-"Sir! Jason! Hold on a minute!" he said, catching up to me.
-"What?" I asked.
-"We have...*pant*...we have a new set of armor that we designed specially for you. We were wondering if you're interested."
-"Got nothing else to do, sure."
-"Perfect! Right this way!"
I followed him into the lab and he presented a simple looking chest piece. I will admit, it had potential.

I entered the suit and it powered up. The sound of mechanisms whirring to life filled the air. I'm glad there was no helmet and I'd still be able to wear the mask.
-"I took the liberty of enhancing your original design." The engineer said.
-"Don't tell me the details, I want it to surprise me." I said, disembarking.
-"There's one more thing."
-"What?"
-"We were testing a few ways to improve your melee abilities and we came up with this." he said, pulling out a weapon I've never seen before.
I tried it on and I was pretty curious about it.

-"Based off of ancient weaponry, we're hoping this experimental weapon will enhance your fluidity." The engie said.
-"I will report back to you after a few tests." I said.
And with that, I left with my two new toys. Now just to go over the plan with the men. They already know but I want to make sure.
