Mia Paul/Jonah Marais (C)

Chapter twenty

Mias POV:
In came Logan and Jake.

I sat up and they both walked in my direction. I started crying as soon as I saw them.
Logan was first to make it to my bed.
'Shh,don't cry. Your ok now,' he whispered, hugging me, but making sure not to hurt me.

Jake walked over to me too.
'Mia, I love you. When your ready to talk about it. We're all here,' he said. Smiling sweetly.

I put my head up and tried to speak. I couldn't. Probably because my neck was so bruised. I started to cry again.
Logan managed to calm me down before asking if I wanted to see Jonah.
I shook my head.
'Why not?' He asked. 'I'm going to get him,' replied Logan.
I hid my face under my blanket.

I got a text from Logan.
Logan: why don't you want to see him Mia? He's your boyfriend.

Mia: I don't want him to see me like this☹️

Logan: Mia, Honestly? Come on. He fell in love with a Paul. That's special. Please. He's so depressed without you Mia.

Mia: send him in, please remind him that I can't talk. I don't want him to think I'm ignoring him.

After I sent that text I moved the blanket out of my face and put my phone on the side.
I looked up and saw Jonah.
He ran over to me and wrapped his arms around me, making sure he was careful of my arms.

We just stayed like that for abit. I was enjoying his company. Just like one of the first times I met him, I was still falling hard for this boy.
He looked up and kissed my forehead. I smiled weakly and patted to my bed.
He got in with me and it felt like I was now safe.

'Mia, I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you. I should've been. I should've stopped him,' he whispered. I looked up and felt a wet tear hit my face. I just kissed him.
I could feel him smiling into the kiss and as we broke apart I kissed him again lightly.

The rest of the boys came in and Made sure I was ok.
I was allowed to go home tomorrow, but I had to sleep over for the night.
Logan went to get my things whilst Jonah stayed with me.
I was now finally able to speak slightly so I whispered.
'Jonah, go home. Get some rest.'
'No, I'm not leaving you again.' He replied kissing the corner of my lips.

I smiled and got comfortable, laying my head on his chest.
I looked up and he whispered 'I love you Mia Angel Paul,'
He loves me?!

'I love you too Jonah Marais' I replied.
I looked up and kissed him one last time before falling asleep.
