*Ghulehs point of view*
It hurts.
The pain downstairs.
I have the urge to give up pushing but I won't let my only son die.
My husband's holding my hand. Just like how we first met.
My sight is blurry from the tears.
"Papaaa!!!" I scream pushing as hard as I can before hearing crying.
"You're almost there. He's almost out."
The nurse between my legs carefully holds my baby that's halfway out.
I let out one more push and the baby is free.
"L-let me see him." Hy voice is weak.
The nurse hands me my son that me and Papa worked so hard on creating.
He has his fathers hair.
"Look at him." I smile. "He's beautiful."
I nearly start to cry. He's so gorgeous. I'm so glad he's alive and here in my arms.
The nurse cuts out the placenta.
"Ok, Ghuleh. I have to clean the baby."
I hold my baby closer to me. He's mine.
"Ghuleh, we will give him right back, I promise."
I look at my baby and kiss him on the head before handing him to the nurse.
"You did good, love." Papa leans over and kisses my head. He holds my hand and rubs it soothingly with his thumb. He avoids letting his claws touch my skin. He brought his white gloves so he can hold my son without scratching him.
"Where is my son?"
"babe it's only been 5 minutes. Your mother instincts are kicking in. You seem to be suddenly out of it."
"Right."
I give in. He's right. I'm being a bit impatient.
"Mrs. Emeritus? Do you have a name for your son yet?"
I thought about it for a minute
"Leviathan Lugosi Emeritus." I smile at my freshly cleaned son as I held him again.
I pull out my right breast and carefully let him latch on to the nipple. He successfully starts suckling.
"You are a good eater. I refused to drink my mama's milk when I was your age." I softly communicated with Leviathan.
"You didn't tell me that story." Papa joined in.
"I'll tell you later." I kept my eyes on Leviathan who has now been suckling for 2 minutes straight.
