Andrea drew in a deep breath as her dad walked her to her dorm room.

"Just remember, Andy." Her dad started, and Andrea let out a small laugh, knowing exactly what he was about to say. "Music makes the unthinkable happen."

"I know, dad. Thank you for the reminder." Andrea said and hugged her dad real quick. "I'll always keep that in mind."

"Great. Are you going to audition to be in an acapella group?" Her dad questioned and she sighed a little.

"I really don't think so. I mean, I'd love to, but I'd never get into the group I'd want to be in." Andrea pushed a strand of her hair behind her ear and set her bags down on her bed.

"What group do you want to be in? We've actually never discussed that."

"I want to be in the Treblemakers." Andrea said and her dad raised his eyebrow slightly.

"The Treblemakers?" He said and she nodded her head a little.

"Yeah. You and Kyle were both in the Treblemakers when you were in college. I want to kinda like.. carry on that tradition." Andrea said with a small smile. "But, I can't do that. It's guys only."

"And you don't want to be in the Bellas?" He asked and she let out a small scoff.

"God, no. The Bellas? Dad, that's like.. the Treblemakers' worst enemy. I could never do that." Andrea said with a slight laugh of disbelief. "Anyway, since the trebles is an all-male group, I'm not gonna join any groups. I'll find something else to do."

"I guess that's your choice, honey." Her dad kissed her cheek and started to head toward the door, but stopped for a moment, just long enough to say something else to her. "I really do think you should audition anyway. Being in an a capella group is an amazing experience. I don't want you to miss out on that, honey."

Andrea sighed and sat down on her bed. "I'll think about it."

"Good. I love you."

"I love you too, dad." Andrea said with a smile. "Do you have any idea when auditions are?"

"4:30." He responded before walking away.

"4:30." She repeated to herself and looked at the clock. It was 2:30 at the time. She had two hours to decide whether or not she wanted to audition to be in an a capella group. She tapped her fingers against her leg for a moment, trying to think it through.

"Can you stop? That's so annoying." Her roommate mumbled from across the room.

"Sorry." Andrea said awkwardly and stood up before starting to pave around the room.

If she did audition, which group would she go for? The Trebles would be a no-go since they're an all-male group, the Bellas were not an option for her, since her dads were both Trebles-- that would be like betrayal if she joined the Bellas, kinda. The BU Harmonics were kind've a bad idea, seeing as they mostly just did Madonna.. and she wasn't that big of a fan of Madonna's music. And the High Notes? That's just.. no. But what if she did audition for the Trebles, would they at least consider letting her join? Probably not. Would she just have to settle for the Bellas? Probably. Would it be worth it? Doubtful. What song were they even supposed to have prepared for auditions? Was she just overthinking everything?

"My god. Does everything you do have to be annoying?" Her roommate mumbled before just walking out of the room.

Andrea finally decided that she would go to auditions. If the Trebles didn't take her (and she was pretty sure that they wouldn't), she would just settle for the Bellas. She would have to, if she really badly wanted to do acapella. She looked at her watch and saw that it was 3:45. Hopefully she'd have plenty of time to get ready.

Hi! My name is Annaleise. I'm the author of this story--- this is actually the first time I've done a story like this, so let's not be dicks about it. Um, I am going to include previous Bellas (Beca, Chloe, Fat Amy, etc) and previous Trebles (Jesse, Benji, Bumper, etc) because I feel like it would be a little easier on me to include them. Also, the chapters will be longer than this one, so don't worry. Also, I like to interact with people, so if you comment or anything, I'll definitely reply. Um. Yeah. Happy reading!
