As she gathered her hair into a ponytail, Andrea took one last glance in the mirror. She didn't look her best-- she was wearing a sweatshirt hoodie and a pair of running shorts, and her hair was a mess. But, she didn't have time to take care of that. She had to go now if she wanted to make it to auditions.

When she got to the auditorium, she scanned the room. In the seats were a few of the groups and their current members. Gordon Rhynes, the leader of The Treblemakers was more toward the back, with two other Trebles, and his cousin Jesse, who was also once a Treble. Emily Junk was toward the front, with only Beca Mitchell and Chloe Beale, who weren't even in the Bellas anymore, sitting with her. There weren't any more Bellas there, but that would probably be because all the Bellas from the previous year had either dropped out of the group or graduated (which sent Emily into a week-long breakdown). The BU Harmonics and The High Notes were there. There were also a bunch of nameless faces in the crowd too-- people that had just auditioned, or that are about to audition.

Andrea took a seat next to a brunette girl that she didn't recognize. The brunette flashed a shy smile before looking away.

"Are you here to watch the auditions?" A guy said as he approached Andrea. He was holding a clipboard, and was staring at Andrea as he awaited her answer.

"Um, no. I'm- I'm here to audition." Andrea said and the guy sighed a little before shoving the clipboard at her.

"You're late." The guy said. "You're lucky you're pretty. Fill this out."

Andrea took the clipboard and looked down at the paper. She grabbed a pen from her purse before filling out the form.

Done. Andrea put her pen away, then handed the clipboard back to the guy. He glanced at it and raised his eyebrow a little before walking away. She shook her leg a little as she waited for her turn. Time seemed to pass by quickly as several individuals came and went, and then it was finally her turn.

She took in a deep breath and walked onto the stage. "I'm Andy Suggs. I'll be singing Higher by Rihanna."

"Take it away." Emily said with a smile. Emily looked down at the pile of forms she had and raised her eyebrow a little. "Um, actually, hold on, I don't have your form." She then began to look through her pile of forms again, this time more frantically.

"It's right here." Said a voice from the back of the auditorium.

"Gordon? Why do you have it?" Emily said, turning around to look at the bleach-blonde.

"Little miss wants to be a Treble." Gordon said, shrugging his shoulders.

"What? Oh goodness. Andy, you do know that the Treblemakers are an all-male group, right?" Emily said as she turned back around.

"I know. So, can I sing now, or?" Andrea stood silent, waiting for a response.

"But you're a-"

"Can I please just sing now?" Andrea said and Emily sighed a little.

"Go for it." Emily said with a small smile. She knew that Andrea probably just wasn't thinking straight and would soon realize she should be a Bella. If she sang well, anyway.

"She doesn't know her vocal range, Gordon." Someone whispered. "She literally wrote 'unknown' in that spot."

"That's fine, Peter. Not everyone knows their vocal range." Gordon whispered back.

"Still, she's a girl, Gordon. The Treblemakers are an all-male group. It's always been that way, and it always will be."

"Did I ever say anything about wanting to accept her into the group? No, I didn't." Gordon whispered and rolled his eyes a little before glancing at the stage.

Once Andrea's audition was over, she stepped off the stage and took a seat again. She was the last one, so now it was time for everybody to just sit in awkward silence while all the groups discuss who they'll take.

"Bellas, you can have baby A." Gordon said to Emily and she raised her eyebrow a little.

"Baby A?" Emily questioned.

"Andy." Gordon said and Emily scoffed a little.

"You really need to stop giving people dumb nicknames." Emily said and he snickered a little.

"Damn. Learn to chill a little." Peter said.

"Shut up, Peter." Gordon said and Peter sighed a little.

"Look, I'd love to take Andy. She has a killer voice and I'd just about die to have her in the Bellas. But, she seems to have her heart set on Treblemakers, and-"

"Emily, she's a girl. She's not going to be a Treblemaker. I do agree with you, she has a great voice, and it would be awesome to have her in a group, but this is a guy's group. We can't just take a girl." Gordon said and Emily sighed a little.

"You're right, you're right." Emily said.

"Did no one else think her name sounded familiar?" Beca interrupted.

"I mean, I guess, but-"

"I looked her up. Her dad is Edward Suggs." Beca said. "Also known as Edward Hanson."

"Edward Hanson?" Gordon said, widening his eyes a little.

"Okay, I'm lost, who's Edward Hanson?" Emily said awkwardly.

"He was one of the first members of The Treblemakers. And he became the leader of the group two years later. He's like.. a legend." Beca explained.

"But why does he go by Edward Suggs now?" Emily asked.

"Because he married Ross Suggs. Who, by the way, was also a Treblemaker." Beca continued. "Which makes our little Andy a freaking legend."

"Which is why she wants to be a Treblemaker too. Both of her dads were, so she wants to carry that on, I bet." Emily said.

"Wait, so she has two dads. Which means, they adopted her, so, just because her dads were Treblemakers, and awesome singers, doesn't mean she would too. I mean, she doesn't have their blood in her veins."

"Peter, shut UP!" Gordon said loudly.

"Actually, they had a surrogate. So, technically she's got the genes from at least one of them." Beca said, shrugging a little.

"Why are we talking about this, again?" Peter asked.

"I don't even know." Emily said. "I'm definitely offering her a spot in the Bellas, though."

"Don't." Gordon said.

"Why?" Emily asked.

"I think I'm gonna give her a spot in the Trebles."
