"Just so you know, my room is right across the hall." Gordon said and pointed to his bedroom, which, of course, was the biggest.
"Good to know." Andrea said and looked around the room that she has chosen to be hers. "Any way I want?" She questioned, referring to how she would decorate her room.
"Any way you want." Gordon said with a wink.
"Awesome," Andrea muttered under her breath. "I can't-" When she turned to face Gordon, he was gone.
Okay, so that was weird.
"And I'm alone." Andrea said awkwardly.
"No you're not." Peter said as he stood in Andrea's doorway. He was tall and skinny, and had messy brown hair. And from the looks of it, he seemed to have a tattoo on his forearm. Andrea just hadn't gotten a chance to get a good look at it yet, so she wasn't sure what it was.
"Oh. Hi. From what I understood, your name is Peter," Andrea paused for a moment, trying to think of how to continue that sentence. Talking hadn't always been her best suit-- but singing was definitely her thing. "Is that right?"
"Yeah, that's right." Peter said with a slight smile.
Andrea just stood there awkwardly, unsure of what to say next. She caught herself staring at Peter's arm for a minute there-- apparently, she really badly wanted to know what that tattoo was.
"Are you okay?" Peter questioned and Andrea nodded a little.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just got a little distracted for a moment." Andrea said.
"Oh, alright." Peter said. "I guess I'll leave you be now."
Just about as soon as Peter turned to walk away, Andrea quickly called out; "Wait."
Peter turned back around to face her. It almost seemed like he towered over her-- he was 6'2 and she was 5'0, so it would make sense that he seemed like a giant compared to her.
"Uh, this is probably weird, but, can I see your tattoo?" Andrea said and Peter grinned a little.
"Which one?" Peter asked.
"What? I-" Andrea took a moment to look him up and down. He did have more than one. There was the one on his forearm and one on the back of his hand. "Oh. I only noticed the one on your arm at first. I didn't realize you had one on your hand, too."
"And one on my finger." Peter said and Andrea raised her eyebrow a little.
"Interesting." Andrea muttered.
Peter chuckled a little and took a few moments to show her his tattoos. The one on his forearm was a guitar, and it seemed to be 'made of' trees and a lake. The one on his hand was a bird, and the one on his finger was a tiny elephant.
"That's really cool." Andrea said with a smile. "I-"
"Two steps back, please. Both of you." A voice said, and Andrea hesitantly took a couple steps back. Peter didn't, though.
"Peter. Two steps back." The voice said and Peter rolled his eyes a little before taking two steps back.
"Good. Thank you." The voice said. It was Gordon.
"What's this all about?" Andrea asked.
"Another rule. No romance." Gordon said and Peter let out a small laugh.
"Dude, what?" Peter said and looked at Gordon like he was crazy.
"No romance." Gordon repeated. "As in no relationships within the group. You can date anyone else you want, Andy. Just not a Treble. No Trebles are to date each other."
"This wasn't romance, Gordon. I was literally just showing her my tats." Peter said.
"Oh, the lies you tell." Gordon said and Peter rolled his eyes a little.
"No, really, he was just showing me his tattoos." Andrea said.
"Alright, whatever." Gordon mumbled. "We gotta get ready for the riff-off."
"Woah, hold on. Riff off?" Andrea said quite quickly. "I thought that wouldn't be until a few days from now or something."
"It is. We just need to kinda like prepare for it." Gordon explained.
"How do you prepare for a riff-off? That kind of thing is spontaneous." Andrea said and Gordon shook his head a little.
"It is spontaneous. Kind of. But, I just mean make sure that we all know how it works. Some of the new people might not know how. So, we just gotta make sure everyone knows what the hell is going on." Gordon said.
"Oh." Was all that Andrea could say at that moment.
"Yeah, so let's go." Gordon said and motioned for both Andrea and Peter to follow him.
