Karaoke Night! Pt.1 ***COURTNEY'S POV*** (At Courtney's and Alice's apartment) I woke up to the sound of my alarm and a ray of sunlight peeping into my room through my partially closed curtains. I slipped into my fuzzy slides from pink and went to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth, showered, curled my hair, did my makeup, then got dressed. I opened my curtains, made my bed and walked out to the kitchen to see Alice making breakfast. "Good morning Court! Today is my day to cook!" Alice smiled. "Good morning Alice! What's on the menu chef Alice?!" I said sitting in my spot on the breakfast nook. "Just eggs with avocado toast and coconut milk!" Alice responded. Once she was done cooking we sat down and ate together and started taking about yesterday and how my instagram is blowing up. "Girl I can't believe you met them! And now they're following you on Instagram?!" Alice squealed. "I know! And they all are really nice! I was texting them yesterday and it was really funny!" I said laughing. "Really?! YOU FREAKING HAVE THEIR NUMBERS?!!!!!" Alice screamed. "Alice shut up! We are going to get kicked out if you keep making all this noise!" I scolded. "Haha sorry!" Alice chuckled. I have to do Austin's laundry because of a bet." I responded. "Oh wait! WAIT! HAVE YOU BEEN TO THEIR HOUSE?!" Alice screamed. "Umm yeah? I thought I told you that?!" I explained. "I can't wait to see Zion!!!He is so hotttt like omfg!" Alice exclaimed. ~~~~ (At the Pretty Much house) "Hi Alice my name's Nick!" Nick said. "Hi Alice I'm Austin!" Austin said. "Hi I'm Edwin!" Edwin said. "What's up I'm Brandon," Bran said. "Hi I'm Zion!" Zion winked, "Let's go talk in the kitchen!" He said. "Hey imma be in the laundry room washing Austin's clothes," I said. "Hey I'll come with you!" Brandon said. ~~~~ ***ALICE'S POV*** (In the kitchen) Omg Zion is so hot. Like all the other boys are cute but this boy, is fire. I thought staring at Zion's beautiful black eyes. "Helloooo?! Alice" Edwin said waving his hand in front of my face. I shook my head and finally got out of my thoughts. "Haha Z looks like someone has a crush on you!" Nick teased. "Haha," Zion said with a blush. "So Alice...can you sing?" Austin asked. "Not At all But I know someone who can," I said with a smirk. "Who?!!!" Edwin said jumping up and down. "Courtney." I responded. ~~~~~~ ***BRANDON'S POV*** (In laundry room) "So Courtney what do you like to do for fun?" I asked. "Well I like to read, write, shop, and I like to s-si...you know what, never mind," Courtney said. "Come on tell me!" I begged. "No it's embarrassing!" Courtney responded. ~~~~~~ ***ALICE'S POV*** "We should totally do a karaoke night!!!" I said jumping up and down. "Yeah that would be fun!" Edwin responded. "We totally have to plan a duet for Court and Bran!" Zion suggested. "Awwe that would be so cute! I ship it!!!" I squealed. ~~~ "Hey Brandon and Courtney can you come over here?" I yelled. "One sec I have to finish folding this last shirt and then I'll be done!" Courtney responded. Courtney and Bran finally walked into the kitchen while laughing their heads off. "And...and when you fell off your Look was priceless!" Courtney said crying of laughter. "Okay guys That's enough"Edwin said in a Mom voice. "So we are going to have a karaoke night!!" Zion said with excitement. ~~~~~~ ***COURTNEY'S POV*** "So we are going to have a karaoke night!!" Zion said with excitement. Oh no. No no no no no!!! I can't sing in front of them! I have a terrible voice. I guess Brandon saw the horror filled look on my face and said. "Come on Court it'll be funnn!" Brandon reassuringly said. "Okay fine!" I agreed. ~~~ Nick and Austin were setting up for karaoke night while Zion and Alice were getting the snacks ready. Me and Brandon were sitting on the couch trying to each pick out a song that we wanted to sing. I chose 1-800-273-8255 by Logic. Once everyone got settled in I was the first one up. "I've been on the low I been taking my time I feel like I'm out of my mind It feel like my life ain't mine Who can relate? Once I got done singing everyone was clapping and cheering me on. "ENCORE! ENCORE! ENCORE!!!" Everyone screamed. "Alright, Alright! I'll sing another one!" I responded, "Hey Guys!!!! How we all doing to night?!" I asked as if I was on stage in front of fans. "YAHHHHHH" Everyone screamed. "I will be doing a cover of Slow Hands by Niall Horan. I hope you guys like it!" I said to the "crowd". As the music started playing and I sang, I felt like I was in a safe place. Away from the drama of life and stress. And I felt powerful and like I had found who I am. "We should take this back to my place That's what she said right to my face 'Cause I want you bad Yeah, I want you, baby I've been thinking 'bout it all day And I hope you feel the same way, yeah 'Cause I want you bad Yeah, I want you, baby" I sang while staring into Brandon's eyes. Before I knew it the song was over and everyone was cheering me on. I felt so loved and happy.
