It was 10:00 pm in the perfectly equipped and newly refurbished room of requirement and it was packed to the brim with all of the eighth years except three.

"This, so called, party better be worth my time" Draco muttered to himself before the lights went low and the crowd grew quiet. Lee Jordan was the DJ in charge of the music. Everything went silent. After a few seconds the music started to play and a voice filled the room

"Thank you for coming home
I'm sorry that the chairs are all worn
I left them here I could have sworn

These are my salad days
Slowly being eaten away
Just another play for today
Oh but I'm proud of you, but I'm proud of you

Nothing left to make me feel small
Luck has left me standing so tall"

The doors burst open and the aptly named golden trio strut in with harry in the lead singing.....
"GOLD!"
"Always believe in your soul."
All three had started singing and were now standing on the stage at the front with spotlights on them.

Draco turned from talking to Blaise and Pansy to watch the rather entertaining spectacle. Unlike everyone else who was in casual clothing , he was sporting his classic smart black suit with white shirt and black tie.

Looking at the trio who were now dancing rather decently to the beat walking forward and backward, side to side as they sang along to every word.... although, half of the pure bloods didn't have a clue what this song was, Draco decided that the precious golden trio wouldn't be the only ones enjoying tonight.

He walked over to the drinks table and took two shots of firewhiskey and carried on watching until the song finished and the trio retired to the rest of the crowd.

Harry, Ron and Hermione all went to talk and mingle with Ginny, Seamus and his boyfriend Dean. Slowly but surely, Harry felt a hole burning into the side of his head, he turned to look at what or who was making him so uncomfortable.
Draco was staring right at him taking another shot of firewhiskey, he walked off into the crowd.

"This is going to be a long night" Harry mumbled to himself,
"Hey, Hermione I'm gonna get a few drinks, even malfoy has started and that means trouble and to be completely honest, I don't want to be sober when said trouble starts. Wanna join me?" He ran a hand through his tangled mess of untidy hair, that somehow seemed to be an attractive feature, then placed it back to his side.

"Yeah why the hell not, I've been told by Ginny to loosen up anyway but I'll only have one, and judging by the look on your face I think I'm going to have to keep an eye on you." She exclaimed looking at him with a worried expression.

They walked to the drinks table and Harry passed her a drink, she took it in one and winced as it seared her throat. Harry on the other hand, grabbed two and downed them one after the other. He took another glass and downed that too without any expression and trying to reach for another.

"Harry slow down, or you'll be wasted before the night has even started!" Hermione expressed hoarsely as the burning feeling slowly subsided.

"H'mione calm down it's not even got to me yet, and plus, I need it if malfoy is gonna do what I think he is" he looked towards the front and saw Malfoy talking to Lee Jordan and nodding whilst pointing to the stage. Slowly he drank his fourth shot of firewhiskey and placed the glass on the table.
"Hmm maybe you're right" she agreed.

Draco had now returned, with his now fifth glass of firewhiskey, to Blaise and Pansy and told them 'the master plan'.
"So you think this will work." Pansy stated, unsure of what song Draco had picked.
"Positive." He replied merrily with a smirk teasing his lips. He seemed to be rather drunk, and that would be his downfall...
