"Hannie! I'm home!"
'Finally.'
"Sorry I'm late. The boss wants us to work on some papers due on Monday."
'You're always late. That was your excuse too last Saturday.'
"Aish. I'm really tired. Come here, Hannie."
'I'll always come for you.'
"I'm sorry, I can't cook you dinner."
'It's okay. I'm used to it. I'm used to all the take away food you bring me.'
"But I bought the food you like. It's still warm so... let's eat!"
'... it's not my favorite food. It's just another greasy chicken from that fast food chain near our home.'
"I know you love this so, say aaaah."
'You're gonna feed me?'
"Isn't it delicious?"
'It is, Josh. Just not the same anymore.'
"Hmm. Why are you pale, Hannie?"
'Thank God, you noticed.'
"Are you sick?"
'Yes, Joshua. I'm sick.'
"Are you tired?"
'I'm so tired.'
"We can go to bed early, if you want."
'Then leave me in the middle of the night? Sure.'
"Let's go, Hannie. You might get worse if you don't rest up."
'You cared.'
"Sleep tight, Hannie. I love you."
'I love you too, Josh. I hope you still do.'
