The Midnight Girl

·12 In The Morning·

I had woken up a couple hours after I had fall asleep from my stomache talking to me.

"Alright, Alright, geez, can't I get some sleep without you wanting something from me 24/7?" I Grummbled to myself as I walked down the stairs.

I wanted something from the store but Mom and Carson were fast asleep, So taking things into my own matters, I grabbed moms keys and headed out the door, to the '24 hours drug store!' Did I mention I'm only 14 and I haven't achieved my permit yet? Mom says I'm getting good at driving though, so I thought I'd go for a practice ride, but I dont know how to drive just yet, oh well I'll just drive down the middle.

After a while cops started to surrounding me and it felt just like a chase. Thinking they wanted to get passed me, I kept switching lanes, they never stopped. After a while of driving and driving for what seemed like an hour, I finally found the market, and went inside for a Dr. Pepper, a bag of Lays chips, and a packet of gum. The cops came in Just shortly after, and looked around, of course they hadn't seen my face so they didn't know it was me.

"Excuse me sir, have you seen anyone mysterious lately?" I overheard the cop ask. I quickly blocked out their conversation soon after.

I went to the back of the store to retrieve my Dr. Pepper from the back cooler, and there was a little girl. The Little Girl had a silver hoodie, and jeans on. She didn't look like a normal girl, but, who am j to judge right? I asked if she could help me get out of the store.

"Hey, Um, do you think you could help me out here. if my mom and brother find out I took the car, I'd be grounded forever.?

She looked at me, but eventually said yes cheerfully and helped me escape the store. When i asked if she could help me out, I didn't imagine anything like this. She walked up to the cashier, pit her hand on his forehead, and he fell Down. She did the exact same thing to the police officer.

"Woah, okay, what was that?" I asked.

"Oh, that? It's nothing. Just a trick I learned from mum and dad." She said and looked over her shoulder at Me.

"Well, thank you, for uh, that. I owe you one." I turned around to Thank her, but, she mysterious disappeared.

"Hmm, I wonder where she went...?" I questioned as I walked to the car.

When I got to the car, there was a little yellow sticker note attracted the the windshield wiper. All the note said was 'Ill see you soon.' It was probably from the little girl. On the way home from the store,  I got lost and made a wrong turn. I turned left instead of right, ended up at this three story pink apartment. There was a rustle,

"Oh Hello there, and who might You be miss?"

I heard a voice, that voice sent shivers up my spine. When I turned around, I wasn't expecting anyone there. But, I guess I was wrong.
