"Lucy... you look great" said Erza breathlessly, still in awe of the spectacle in front of her.

"T-thank you... " I said sheepishly, I haven't been complimented in such a long time. Not even during my meetings with Lily and Happy, who only offered a few hugs and little-to-no terms of endearment.

The others waited in unsure silence as I kept my head down.

I suddenly declared:

For a moment no one said anything, nor did they protest. Erza finally broke the silence and said "Normally I'd have to go through with executing you for betrayal of your family, but seeing as how they've acted I'm willing to overlook it." she finished with a joking smile.

Following Erza's lead, Happy then asked meekly, "May I go with you Lucy? I'll cry too much if you were gone."

"Of course Happy!" I replied, bewildered and relieved at the same time. "But we need to do something about how you look,Happy, someone might recognize you." said Loke. "Ah yes, I agree!" I exclaimed then said

"Open gate of the crab, I summon thee, CANCER"

"Yes, please change how Happy looks"

"Yes princess, ebi ebi"

"Ne, Lucy, will this hurt?" questioned Happy nervously.

"Not at all." I reassured with a soft smile .

"I need you all to leave the room and I'll start working in the cat ebi ebi"

Erza got up to leave and everyone else followed suit. "We need to get you packed Lucy, then get some rest." Said Erza.

"Alright let's begin."

"Ahhhh" I exhaled as I step into the cool night air sensing just the tiniest hint of cherry blossoms coming from the local park. The blossoms in full bloom and the night air was getting a bit warm because of the oncoming summer. " Are you ready Lucy?" asked Erza. " I don't really know to be honest..." I replied, suddenly finding my shoes more interesting. I couldn't think of anything else to say but felt a gentle yet firm hand on my shoulder. I brushed my bangs out of my eyes and looked up to see Erza smiling with warmth in her eyes. But then I could also tell she was trying not to cry. With no warning she just broke down and pulled me for a tight hug.

"Baka... I'm supposed to be the one crying remember?"

I joked. She only sniffles in response but then looked up and flashed me her biggest smile yet. "Your going to be great Lucy, I know it. Promise you'll write?" "Of course."

With one last sniffle she said "Let's get to the train station shall we?"

"WAIT DONT FORGET ME!"
