Three weeks later. . .
It has been a wild ride lately, Theo taking up extra shifts in his dads shop, me finding a new job at the local daycare, and Camryn telling Mateo about the baby.
That went down pretty much as expected.
"Wait just a second," Mateo held his hand up in a pause, "You're pregnant?"
"Yes," Camry said, fear in her eyes.
"Are you serious?"
"Positive." A huge grin spread across his face, a new light shinning in his eyes.
"I'm going to be a dad?" Cam nodded and I felt Theo's hand tighten on my thigh.
"I swear to god if you keep asking all these stupid ass questions the baby won't have a dad cause I will have killed you." Theo's deep voice rang out through my small apartments air.
"This is the best news sol," I had started to pick up a little bit of Spanish on Rosetta Stone, 'Sol' means 'sunshine'. Apparently that is what he calls Cam because of her golden hair.
As expected, Cam started crying tears of joy over the fact that Mateo was happy about the baby. He went on and on about how he knew she was because of her moodiness towards him, how he couldn't wait to hold his son or daughter. I think the whole conversation was getting to Theo, so we had let the pair be and we had headed back to Theo's apartment.
I had woken up early this morning, got ready for work and actually looked alive. These past few weeks Theo has kept me up all hours of the night having sex. I think that's his way of 'trying' without trying to make it seem like he is 'trying'. He said that if I get pregnant then that is what was meant to happen, I think he is trying to influence a pregnancy.
As much as he tries to tell me that he just enjoys having a lot of sex with me, he hasn't gone the extra mile to be safe with me, I'm still on my pills because I want us to be out of this small apartment before we bring a life into the world. Not to mention the face that I have just gotten a stable job for the first time in months and I am trying to save for a nice car. Sally is kicking the bucket, for real this time. Theo and his dad keep trying to fix it, but she's a lost cause. It's time to upgrade.
Now, I am at work helping a little boy named Gavin stack blocks in the toddler room. In twenty minutes I will be in the preschool room, helping the kids in there with activity time. This job is really insightful, babies, toddlers, and kids are a lot of work. I am lucky enough to send them home at the end of the day and I don't have to deal with them for too terribly long. I love working with them none the less.
"Peyton, you have a phone call," my boss Ashley said. I nodded at her and she took my spot next to Gavin. I walked into the office and picked up the phone.
"Hello?"
"Help, I am having a crisis." Came Mateo's voice.
"I am at work Mateo, what could be so important?" I sighed.
"I wanted to buy the baby an outfit but I don't know what size to get." Mateo seemed genuinely frustrated. But now so was I.
"Camryn is five weeks pregnant. . .you don't need to buy an outfit right now." I rubbed my forehead, already getting a headache.
"But I want to. I want to surprise her, and I found the perfect one, please help." He pleaded, I sighed.
"Get a three-to-six months one, if the baby has your family genes then it will be a big one, but even if it's not the baby can grow into it and wear it longer. Now i have to go, don't call again Mateo, bye."I hung up the phone and walked back out into the playroom, I took my spot back next to baby Gavin and carried on.

"Ugh! I'm so tired," I said as I flopped down onto the couch. Theo was sitting there, watching some show.
"So how was work?" He asked, grabbing one of my feet and started rubbing. He's been doing this every single day since we came home.
"Tiring," I yawned, "How was the shop?"
"Slow, not much business this week, which sucks for my paycheck."
"Oh I'm sorry baby," I leaned up and kissed his cheek.
"Want to know what would make me feel better?" He looked me in the eyes with a smirk on his face. Oh hell no.
"We are not having sex tonight." I deadpan and he frowns.
"Why not?"
"I'm all sexed out. you've kept me up late every night for weeks, I love having sex with you but I'm beat." He nods and grabs my other foot. "Is there a reason you've been keeping me so busy?" He looks at me and shrugs before looking at my foot and focusing.
"Nah," is all he says, I frown and pull my foot away.
"Theo, talk to me." He sighs and runs his hand through his hair.
"Okay, I am sick of living in this shitty ass apartment above my dads auto shop. I think that if I get you pregnant that we have a legit excuse to get out of here. I know we can leave anytime we want, but I want a home with you, starting with a home inside you. Part of me and you." His eyes look honest, like he doesn't even like his own feelings. I move close to him and throw my legs over his lap while snuggling into his side. His arm falls over my shoulders and pulls me closer as if on instinct.
"You have already become my home, and we will have our own house soon, one we can fill up with all those babies you want. We can get married eventually, then go from there? My parents would turn over in their graves if they found out I was having a baby with a man I wasn't married too. Maverick is already doing that." I feel him kiss my head and smell my hair.
"Maybe it's a security thing," he mumbles into my hair.
"What is?"
"Getting you pregnant, like maybe it will make me feel like I'll never lose you, that even if you decide you don't want me anymore I will still have part of you cause I know he or she will look just like you." I smiled into his side.
"Theo I could never leave you. One; I love you, two; you have literally ruined me for anyone else so you'll never get rid of me." He chuckled but it was a dark one.
"As if I'd ever let you out of my sights to have sex with anyone else."
"You would have no say," I joked.
"I'd kill anyone who even thought of sticking their dick in you. Your pussy was made for me and I am the only one who will know how you feel when you come for the rest of our lives. Believe it or not babe, it is mine and mine only."
"Oh possessive much?" He gripped my ass hard.
"Damn right." He grunted.
"Okay, maybe I'm not so tired after all." That was all I had to say before he was on me.
