Five minutes before...Taehyung glared at Baekhyun. " What did you just say, fucker?"
"I said what I said Taehyung."
It did not take a second for Taehyung to take a hold of his step brother's shirt, creasing it slightly. He brought their faces close. " I'm gonna seriously beat you to the pulp if you don't stop. You'll be so beaten up and bloody, even Chanyeol will not recognize you." Baekhyun smirked at him. He was used to Taehyung's threats.
" Who is he anyway? I never saw him around."
" Nobody."
" Ah yeah? A nobody?" Baekhyun tilted his head on the side. " You don't buy expensive shit to a nobody,Taehyung. Not even to your own close friends. So tell me Taehyung, who is this guy to you? A little crush?" Taehyung let go of his step brother with a snarl.
He took the bag in his hand and glared at him. He did not like the bunny. He did not appreciate him. He hated his guts. He exited the store. Baekhyun had always been good at poking where everything would go wrong. As he closed the door behind him, he saw a blushing Jungkook covering his face in his hands. He rolled his eyes.
'Pathetic.'
"Are you blushing bunny?" He asked him with a raised eyebrow. He looked up to him, his face and neck tomato red.
"N...no Taehyung. I... I am not blushing."
'Idiot,' thought Taehyung. They started their walk to continue shopping. As they walked by an electronic shop, Taehyung dragged Jungkook into it. The purple-haired guy had to buy new earphones since Jimin had broken his old ones. " While I check for earphones, you don't move. Got it bunny?" Jungkook nodded. After hearing the way Taehyung had threaten the man at the clothes shop, he didn't want it to happen to him too.
After finally finding what he was searching for, Taehyung joined Jungkook in front of a big television in display close to the cashiers.
As they waited for their turn in the line, they watched the video playing on the screen. It was a music video from some guy playing before them. It was the story of a couple. It was cute, and it was making Taehyung sick.
'He looks so happy, it's disgusting. You can't be that happy,' thought the purple-haired .
" I wish I had that," whispered Jungkook. It was too low for others to hear, except for Kim Taehyung. He slapped the back of Jungkook's head. " Don't be delusional bunny. " Taehyung turned back to look the front of the shop, where the different cashiers were scanning products.
Taehyung payed, ignoring completely Jungkook. Somehow, Jungkook was starting to get used to the purple-haired guy's coldness towards him. He still didn't understand why he had brought him and payed for his things if he didn't acknowledge him. ' It will always be a mystery.'
They continued walking around, walking in some shops, going out of them. To Jungkook's surprise, they went back to the café from earlier. It was also the same waitress, Yongsun, serving them.
" Same order for both you?" Taehyung rolled his eyes, but it seemed to say yes, from the way she gave a smile and went back to the kitchens. They were in silence. Jungkook was concentrated on turning in thumbs non-stop while Taehyung was scrolling on his phone. '
Don't make eye contact, don't make eye contact, don't make eye contact, don't make eye contact, don't make eye conta-'
Jungkook flinched a little at the son of a phone's ringtone going on. He was too nervous, it had surprised him. Taehyung raised an eyebrow at him. He rolled his eyes at Jungkook. He took out his cell phone. " Fuck." He cursed under his breath. It was his mother calling him. Why was she calling him? She had no good reason to contact him. Even if he didn't want to answer, he knew he had no other choice than to accept the call. He had once ignored her and after, he had gotten worse.
