Jungkook had no news about Taehyung and Baekhyun's conditions.

He was at school, in his math class. He was tapping his pencil on the table while the teacher was speaking. He was spitting formulas and numbers here and there while writing on the white board.

"So class, do you understand everything? If not, come see me. For now, do the exercises on pages 5 to 8, number 11 to 14 and 17 to 19. If not finished, it's to finish as homework for next class. Start now."

Jungkook looked at the papers laying on the desk. He had not listened for the whole class, his thoughts worrying for Taehyung. His mother had said that she would contact him if she ever received news. Nothing. He was struggling to do his work. He should not have the situation escalating to this point. Jungkook heard a chair scratching the floor next to his desk. A second chair was dragged next to the first one. A third came along.

" Hey Kook, how you doing?"

He looked up. Yugyeom was sitting to his left, Bambam to his right and Youngjae in front of him. It had been rocky with them since he started hanging out with Taehyung and since Bambam had kind of deserted to go with Jin. Jungkook looked down. He couldn't believe what happened to their friendship. He tried to ignore the guys by working on his problems. Unfortunately, he didn't understand one thing of the things written on the papers.

He sighed. "Bad."

"Bab what?" Questioned Youngjae.

" Bad as in I feel bad, tired, annoyed, don't want to be here and want to be somewhere." It's only after he said the words he realized that they were cold and poisonous. Yugyeom had a small frown and the two others were looking away.

" Is everything okay there?" Asked the teacher.

Bambam responded with a thumb's up. " Do you, perhaps, need help? I saw that you weren't really paying attention to the explications." Jungkook nodded. Youngjae started to explain. Honestly, Jungkook did not listen.

Jungkook was back home.

Tzuyu was doing some cooking for the diner while Jungkook was getting played in the hair by his mother. The hospital had not call during the day. Jungkook could only imagine the worst. What if Taehyung never woke up? What if he had amnesia like in dramas and he didn't remember him and a crazy ex-girlfriend he didn't have speak about knew about it and at the end, he went with his crazy ex-girlfriend and-

" Jungkook, life is not a bad, cliché written drama. "

"but what if?"

"Well that's life honey. Tzuyu, when is the food ready? Your wife's hungry."

Jungkook moved to the dining room. Tzuyu was putting down the food when Jungkook's mother's phone rang in the room. She excused her self to take the call outside the room. Jungkook started eating the food Tzuyu had prepared.

One thing Jungkook liked the most about his stepmother was the food she cooked for sure. His own mom couldn't even prepare pasta without burning the noodles. It happened twice, and the two times Jungkook didn't know how his mom did. She did not know either. Fortunately, she found Tzuyu and she's most likely staying with her for the food and for the love, obviously.

His mother returned after two minutes. "Who was it, honey?" Asked Tzuyu, seated at the table, her mouth full of food. Jungkook's mother sat at the table with her family, not responding to her wife. No one asked the woman for more questions about the mysterious call. They respected her private life after all.

It was only after the dinner was finished that she dropped the bomb: Taehyung could have guests to visit. Jungkook was ready to jump at his mother's throat. He asked her why she hadn't say anything to him. She responded that he would have want to visit the same night. He agreed with her. He had not seen Taehyung in days. He missed his boyfriend. Visit hours were closed. His mother promised him that he could skip school the next day to go see Taehyung.

He couldn't wait for tomorrow.
