Your POV
Once I had managed to escape the crowd of people, I leaned against a wall, catching my breath before deciding on a place to go. Sadly, Mark had the keys to the house, and that wasn't an option. My mind raced, searching for any place that I might be able to go. The only place that I could think of was the old decaying bridge where I had almost taken my life not long ago. I shoved my hands in the pockets in the pockets in my dress, and lowered my head. I walked along the other pedestrians, hoping that no one from the celebration would notice me. I walked to our car, and grabbed a hoodie. It was red and black, with white drawstrings. It was Mark's. I threw it on my slender figure, and buried my face in the extra fabric since this was too big for me. I pulled the hood over my hair, pulling on the drawstrings slightly to keep out that rain that had started to fall. I gently put my hands in the giant pocket, savoring the slight warm of the cloth. I walked slowly, my head pointed at the sidewalk. I would occasionally look up to look at the signs, but it wasn't long before I came to the bridge. I walked over, running my fingers over the damp, decaying bricks. Tears ran down my face, splattering on the pavement along with the cold rain. I pounded the edge of a brick, furious with the cruel universe. I let my hair fall and cover my face. By this time, my energy was drained, so I slid down the bricks, resting my butt on the cold pavement, hugging my knees. I heard footsteps approaching, but I only buried my face into the hoodie, sobbing more. And of course it was the last person that I wanted to see right now.
