"What the fuck do you mean you're leaving? You're just gonna abandon me and our baby because you don't want to take responsibility for your actions?" I'm yelling loud enough that our neighbors hear me and frankly I don't care. I have had about enough of Xander's bullshit when it comes to being my lover and our babies father.
He still wont look me in the eye, and just when I'm about to lose it he looks up from the floor into my eyes, which frankly aren't super high off the ground. "I told you, this whole dad thing isn't for me Sam. I'm sorry but I will sign any paper you need for me to give up my rights. I'm just not ready for a baby, I'm sorry." His voice sounds defeated but in still reeling with anger.
He turns around and puts some more of his stuff into a bag. I leave the room about ready to cry and make my way to the kitchen. I blame my large appetite on me 'eating for two's even though I know its a lie. Speaking of which, theres another bill ive gotta pay all by myself.
I grab an apple from the fridge because its basically all I've got left. "Sam, I really am sorry. I will contact you with my info when I get settled. I'm positive you'll do amazing on your own. I know you'll hate me, but I hope you let our kid know I really did love you both." I let his rambling ens the conversation. I couldn't speak or I'd break down. I wouldn't meet his eyes and continued to eat. "I guess this is goodbye for now. See ya Samantha." Just him saying my name like that did it.I head the door open and close as Xander left the house for the last time. I broke, falling to the old lamenant wood floor I started crying hard.
Wiping my tears and plenty of mascara I got up and made my way to my room where my phone was. I picked it up still hiccuping with sobs and called the only person I could think of. It rang twice before she picked up. "Hello? Honey are you there?" I started sobbing again when I heard my moms voice. Even if we havent talked in months she'll answer like nothing happened between us. "Mom, he -hic- he left." I spoke so softly that it was a miracle she heard me.
Mom and I talked for an hour before my alarm let me know it was tinw to get ready for my 6pm to 2am shift at the bar was supposed to start. Being 2 months preggo I didnt have much if a belly. It just looked like I had gained a little weight in my midsection. I get dressed in my black uniform with a red vest and tie to match. The buttons were getting a little harder to button, I was gonna have to ask for a bigger vest later. My hair in a high pony tail and my make up done in simple tan tones like usual I was gonna need a cup of coffee to deal with people tonight.
Getting to work I see the tables pretty empty like normal. At least they are until about 9pm when the flyers come in. 'Billionaress' was a pretty common place for the Fortune 500 CEO's to visit. In practically the middle of nowhere, it was a good place to bring the weekend hottie or business deals without many people knowing. The staff is required to not speak about customers outside the building. Since these people are worth billions we do get paid pretty well, but the only way to rake in some serious cash is to get in good enough with a sponser and then they will pay for you to do all of thier waiting. Some people even get great jobs this way. All of the sponsors know I'm pregnant as I wasnt going to hide anything, but it just made it near impossiblt to get a sponsor or better job because no one wants to hire a mom-to-be.
I clocked and and started taking orders to and from the bar. My best friend Amelia was at the bar making drinks tonight thank the lord had Milo been there I might have hit him. "Sam, earth to Sam!" The sweet voice shook me from my robotic state. "Hey Milly, sorry just thinking." I leaned back against the bar while she made my next order of drinks. "Well, miss thinker hows my little neice or nephew?" She new just how to make me smile. "Well, usually hungry, makes me a little moody, ya know the usual." I laughed while rubbing my little bump. A single tear fell onto my vest, I hadnt even noticed I was beginning to cry. I quickly wiped away the rest of the tears and took the tray full of drinks to the table before taking a break.
Milly had followed me outside to see why I had started crying. "Milly, you need to get back in there" I said staring up at the stars. She stomped up to me and spun me around into her arms. "Sam, what happened?" She asked into my neck. "He left. He packed up and left Amelia." I felt the tears burn my eyes again but I kept it together. She hugged me tighter if it was possible. "Sam, I'm moving in with you. You don't deserve to go down this road alone. I'll help however I can. I promise." And with that we walked back in and finished our shift. As we were about to leave I noticed a guy who was a weekend regular follow us outside. I thought it was a little creepy but I guess it comes with the job. Getting into my car I left and prepared my house for Amelia to come.

Brent POVI saw her run outside and her friend quickly follow her. "Girl drama am I right?" My PA said. I looked down at my drink and sighed. "I dont know what it is Mike, I can't stop looking at her. She is pregnant, maybe it's out if sympathy?" Mike laughed at my question. "C'mon man, don't tell me youve fallen for a girl whose pregnant with anither mans baby?" Mike is a lightweight and was already on the tipsy side, it would be a miracle if I didnt have to drag him to the car. "Nah, I don't think its love. I think I'm just desperate to finish all the requirements to get the business. I only have 2 years left until my times up." Mike and I left the conversation at that and kept drinking.
After the bar came to a close and I got Mike situated with the driver I walked outside and watched the girl and her best friend walk to their cars. She turned and saw me, I made not attempt to hide I was watching her and she just went on about her way. I sighed and walked back to the car, sitting next to drunk Mike I coulsnt help but wonder how I got such a shitty PA out if a best friend.
