Chapter 3: Friends, Enemies, and The Secret Part 1

Now, i am free from the possession, so unless stated otherwise, im me, but possession comes with an afterwards toll, emotional toll to be exact, and trust me when i say that emotion hits hard, but i mean, why wouldn't it coming from the feelz king. By the way, the music above is to set the mood of the story. Shout out to my Escapists people, heh heh, well anyways, on with the story.

There i was, in waterfall, staying away from everyone because of the recent possession incident, i was used for my power, that's just it, but i figured that the possession was still a bit there, because i heard a voice telling me to kill them, but the possession told me to help it, this questions if it was the  possession or...something else. (maybe a rival :3) "kill them...they don't care...just end it..." it repeated to me, trying to convince me. Then, the voice stopped and right after, i heard the sweet voice i could always recognize, it was summer. "Ben...don't run for us...we just want to talk..." she said, and the we meant Bev and Shahd were with her. I could hear the extreme worry in her voice...it was unsettling to me. Before i could say anything, she came and sat next to me, Bev came to sit on the opposite side, and Shahd next to summer. heh, classic summer, when it comes to me, she doesnt take no for an answer.

Bev actually started off by saying "Ben, you can't just run from your dimension, you created it for a reason, and i believe that reason was to bring us together, and dammit, if we were ever split up by some outside force, i would literally throw myself down a fleet of stairs." She was trying to cheer me up with that, and it kinda worked, we all laughed a little at the statement, but it wasn't for long, I was still devastated at what i did, or rather tried to do. Summer then tried to cheer me up "Ben, we are your friends, and if you think we blame you for what happened, we don't, we know that wasn't the sweet and kind person we know as you" She said with a gentle tone in her voice. That made me smile, and blush a bit. Usually compliments are just that, compliments, coming from her, it meant much more, but i wanted to keep that a secret for now. "you know...you three are way too kind, you three understand everything that happens to me, but what you don't is that i'm not greiving over losing this dimension or that you knew it wasn't me...im sorrowful because my power could lead to the destruction of everything we have..." they were silent at that point.I summoned a vial with blue glowing liquid in it. It was the powerful and pure substance of bavarium, and i had stored the stuff for a while. "The power i possess and the fact that, along with you summer, i am a creator puts me in danger of corruption...possession...and therefore puts you three in danger..." as i speak, i slowly start to tear up. "This power is a burden...a nuisance...to much to hand-" i was cut off.

"Ben" Shahd started in a different, more comforting voice. "power may be the source of capture, yes, but power is also the reason that you can protect everything and everyone you care about, i may be stronger, and trust me i know what you mean, but your power is the reason we still have this dimension..." She looks me straight in the eyes "it's the reason we are still alive, we all have our weaknesses, but those don't matter as much as embracing your strengths, and i know as well as you that you have a big strength sitting right next to you" she smiled as she said that. I smiled back at her and looked at summer, which immediately after, gave me a sudden hug and said "Everything will be fine, i won't let corruption take you over" I smiled and hugged her back. "heh heh, i won't either, i promise" i said back to her. I noticed Shahd smiling and giving me a teasing glare, and I mouthed to her "shut up" but that did nothing to stop her. I could feel that Bev was smiling too. I let go of summer and she did the same. "you think maybe we should go explain what's happening to our characters" i said to her "yeah, probably a good idea" summer answered.

We disappeared and reappeared back at the sight of where the incident occurred, which sans, frisk, artsy, and iris were still at. All four of us walking over to them, because it seems they were hesitant to approach us. "well, you four seem to be doing good, and the dimension seems to be in good shape too" i said to them, keeping a kind of mental log. Sans was the first to say anything, despite protecting frisk and his cautiousness. "Yeah, i guess, but who are you, i've never seen you four around here before, huh, or maybe i'm just a BONEhead and don't remember." Sans said, joking around using his puns. I heard giggling from frisk as well as summer, and laughs from iris and shahd, art and bev just rolled their eyes and smiled. "heh heh, well that pun really tickled their funny BONE, huh sans?" I joked around as well, and more giggling came from frisk and especially summer, and i blushed a small bit at that, and i don't know what it was, but her giggling always got me, noticeable or not. i felt a nudge from both Shahd and bev, i looked back at them and saw them smiling at me teasingly. i just rolled my eyes at them, turned back, and said to the other four "anyways, hey, i'm ben, this great person right here next to me is summer" i said, complimenting her in the process, she smiled and waved, saying "hello!" in an excited and happy voice. I moved out of the way to introduce my other two good friends. "standing on the right is Bev and next to her is her 'twin twon' Shahd." as i said that, they looked at each other, smiled, and yelled "twin twons!!" which made me laugh. "and basically we are the creators of all this you live in and you yourselves."

 The creators of the dimension reveal themselves, finally right? This part took an awful long time, but that's not it, there's three parts to this chapter, THREE! so get ready for some action in the next parts!
