Chapter 2: Mind vs body

What i did during my possessed stage i knew meant nothing, but for the others, i wasn't sure, and i couldn't tell them because the possession kept me stuck in my mind. I was trying to fight it, but as from xenoverse, i knew i created two beings that could use dark magic, and the possession would eventually kill me if i kept fighting it, so i stopped, but i still wanted to fight it, knowing my friends were in danger, especially one of them i really wanted to protect. Now, dont get me wrong, i love them, but each in different ways, Shahd, i love like a little sister, because we literally act like we are. Bev, she's my best friend, she may be younger than me, but mentally, she's an adult, and we can literally talk about anything with each other. Finally, Summer...well, we will get to that later, won't we?

Possessed POV

As i slashed at summer, i felt something stop my sword, and in front of me was an ink shield she had created. "huh, same old ink powers i s-" I was cut off because of getting shot in the arm, the pain I felt, but I didn't show it. Bev had shot me, and following the bullet, she stated "Ben, we are trying to help you, so why don't you stop being an asshole, and let us help!?" Even possessed, i knew that Bev was kind of a smartass, but hey, more fun that way. But instead, i looked over at Shahd, who still wasn't doing anything, and smiled an evil smile. i suddenly disappeared and reappeared right in front of her. "why don't you say something?" i said, cocky, and i slashed at her, but she was gone, she had suddenly disappeared, and before i could say anything, i felt a slash knock me back. She was behind me "...you may be possessed, but my time powers surpass anything you can manage, ben" she said in a serious voice. i had forgot about her powers to manipulate time, and she was right, she had always been stronger than me. I responded with a growl, but suddenly got hit with ink that threw me backwards into more ink that trapped me. "Ben, you need to come back to us, we miss the old you, the nice and funny you, just please, come back" Summer said to me in her innocent voice that she usually used to talk me into things she wanted.

Naturally, i would give in to her, but this time, the decision was to my body, not my mind, I thought about it though, i wanted to stop, but my body didnt, so i had a decision to make. So after thinking, i decided that even tho i might die, i would fight the corruption.

I could feel the original of this body fighting back, but i couldnt give in to it, i must finish my job. The battle between this body and mind showed, and naturally, summer did what she does best, comfort and provide support. She responded by running up to me and hugging me to try to help the mind of this body break out. "Ben...i know you can hear me...please...come back" she said softly to me, trying to get to me. I wanted to attack her right there, but i couldnt, i could feel the mind breaking through this corruption. But i managed to break my arms out of the ink, and i raised a fist as if to punch her back off her me, but knowing summer, she wont let go because of a threat. My eyes suddenly started to dim slowly from red back to brown as my mind began to regain control and become aware of what i was doing. As i fully regained control, i dropped out of summers embrace and to my knees, then to the ground. Almost immediately after that, Bev and Shahd both yelled my name in worry and rushed over to me and summer. Summer was just standing there, frozen in a state of worry and not knowing what to do. Fortunately, i wasnt dead, because a moment later, i got up onto my hands and knees. I was shaking, and im sure they noticed, because Bev asked "...Ben, are you-" i cut her off by saying "no..."as tears dripped off my face "im nothing..but a danger...to everyone" i said in sorrow, and then i disappeared following that. "Ben wait i..." summer said but stopped, then sighed. "you are not a danger..." she said to herself. Summer looked back at Bev and Shahd. They both nodded knowing what she wanted, and then all three of them disappeared. "...what the fuck just happened" sans said, absolutely confused. "i...dont know" iris said, answering his question. Frisk just stayed silent, processing this. Art asked them "should we go see whats going on?" but sans decided that they should stay out of it "no, lets just leave them to help their friend" he said, knowing that it would be a bad idea.

WOO, chapter 2 done, sorry about the wait, i had other things to do *cough* procrastinate *cough* anyway, i hope you all liked it, i will try to keep a schedule but thats not a certainty. And a couple more things, first, this isnt 100% accurate, its my amped, memory version of it, and i cant remember it all, also i fill in parts with stuff i intentionally add in that didnt happen to make it epic, but the plot is relatively the same.
