Chapter 2: Mission Cleared

Jungkook's POV:
I was listening to our professor's lecture and the subject was History. Oh god can someone save me from this boring abyss. But I tried my best to stay awake despite feeling like my eyes were dropping down to multiple floors. Finally after going through the immense torture, the bell rang. THANK GOD. HALLELUJAH TO THE WORLD. Taehyungie poked my back and his eyebrows were going up and down signaling me that Rosé was about to go out the door. I took a glance at her and Taehyungie and I rushed to the door and I ACCIDENTALLY bumped her, well it was actually intentional. She slightly parted her lips and lip synced the word "ouch". I looked deep in her alluring eyes. It was as beautiful like the ocean reflecting the moonlight. Before she can catch me daydreaming, I snapped myself out of those heavenly thoughts and quickly apologized.

"I'm sorry Miss, I didn't mean to bump on you." Phew, I can't believe those words came out of my mouth justlile that. Wait what if she just looks at me weirdly and walks away? Ughh, now I have to lock myself in my room for ages.

"It's okay, no need to be so formal."
My mind went blank. Is this a dream? Come on Jungkook, this is your chance. Don't do anything stupid or what.

"I'm Roseanne Park. But I prefer to be called by Rosé. What's your name?"

"Oh, I'm Jeon Jungkook and by the way, Rosé is a beautiful name."

As soon as I said that, I mentally pinched myself and I hope I'm not hallucinating but her cheeks went red. She giggled and thanked me.

"Well, thank you for that compliment. Anyways, I gotta go. My boyfriend must be waiting for me."

"You're welcome Pasta. I mean Rosé."
She looked at me with a confused expression and chuckled.

"Anyways, goodbye Jungkook. It was nice meeting you."

"Same here, goodbye Rosé."
We bid each other goodbyes and I watches her walk towards the school's parking lot. I smiled due to extreme happiness that I felt like I could hug and kiss everyone around me. I was replaying the whole thing over and over again and was startled when Taehyungie-hyung popped out of nowhere.

"Jungkook-ah, I have a good news and a bad news for you."

"W-what is it, hyung?"

"What do you want to hear first, the good news or the bad news?"

"The good news must be first hyung."
My heart started to beat fast and I was starting to produce sweat.

"Okayy, the good news is that you conpleted your mission and that means we have to celebrate by eating beef for dinner at a restaurant."

"That's great. My stomach is growling. So what's the bad news, hyung?"

"The bad news is.."

"WHAT?! WHAT IS IT?! YOU'RE MAKING ME FREAK OUT HYUNG!"
Taehyung laughed at me.

"It's your treat, bunny."

"Wait, why is it my treat hyung? You should be the one treating me beacuse I finally talked to her hyung."

"Yahh, Jungkookie. When you talked to her, you forgot that I was even there. You know how hurt I was?" Taehyung spoke sarcastically and made fake crying sounds.

"Fine, hyung. Dinner's on me."
Taehyung did his victory dance and literally danced all the way to the restaurant.

Rosé's POV:
The bell rang and I stood up. When I was at the door. A young man taller than me went to the door as well and that caused him to bump his muscular body onto mine. It hurt a little but I tried to ignore it. But then he quickly apologized for his recklessness.

"I'm sorry, Miss. I didn't mean to bump on you." I looked up and caught him looking deep into my eyes. It was like a K-drama scene where a guy and a girl meet for the first time through accidents. There was this unexplainable aura about him. I don't know what it is but I'm drawn to it. However, I tried to act normal and quickly replied.

"It's okay, no need to be so formal."
I smiled at let me just say this, but he looks amazing. He's so my type. Wait, oh my gosh Rosé, you have a freaking boyfriend. You can't have these thoughts. Just no. I love Chanyeol so much. I wouldn't replace him for any guy that easily. He's the guy that I've been waiting for my whole life. I hope we last tho. Well I guess I could just be friends with him or at least know hos name so I introduced myself.

"I'm Roseanne Park. But I prefer to be called by Rosé. What's your name?"

"Oh, I'm Jeon Jungkook and by the way, Rosé is a beautiful name."
I don't know why but I felt that my cheeks got warm. Relax Rosé, it's just a compliment. Nothing more neither less. I smiled and thanked him.

"Well, thank you for that compliment. Anyways, I gotta go. My boyfriend must be waiting for me."

"You're welcome Pasta. I mean Rosé."
Did he just call me Pasta? Only my parents call me that. Plus, we just met. How can he know my secret nickname? I just laughed it off and said goodbye.

"Anyways, goodbye Jungkook. It was nice meeting you."

"Same here, goodbye Rosé."
We waved at each other and I walked to the school's parking lot to meet
Chanyeol. On my way there, as usual I saw Chanyeol leaning against his Lambo but he was talking to a girl. The girl was facing her back at my point of view but when she turned around, I saw her face. Choi Sooyoung. I hate her guts but what is she doing out here alone with my Yeollie? Should I go to them now or should I hide here to eavesdrop on their conversation? No, I should gp to them now, I don't want Chanyeol suspecting me that I don't trust him. I fixed my hair and walked towards them.

"Hey Yeollie. Sorry to interrupt your conversation with Sooyoung."
I tried to act as nice as possible. God, please stop my urge of slapping her.

"Hey babe, it's okay. We were just catching up with stuff while I was waiting for you."
Chanyeol carressed the top of my head with his thumb. I swear, I saw Sooyoung flashed us a dirty look.

"Sooyoung, this is my girlfriend, Rosé."

"Oh, um. It's nice to meet you. Rosé."
Sooyoung spoke while having a devilish smirk plastered on her face. This fake ass woman. I also gave her a fake ass smile in return. She told us that she had to go and Chanyeol also told her that we were also going. We parted ways and Chanyeol and I were seated inside the car. A few minutes into the ride, my stomach started rumbling.

"Yeollie, I'm hungry."
I pouted at him.
"Okay babe. Let's go eat beef."
He nodded and parked near my favorite restaurant. They have the freshest beef and THE BEST TTEOKBOKI IN TOWN (spicy rice cakes). A huge smile formed on my face and I cheered like a little girl.

"Yayy! Thanks babe!"
I kissed Chanyeol on the cheek and we drove our way to the restaurant.

Jungkook's POV:
I had to treat Taehyung to dinner. Well, I actually felt bad for ditching him because when I talked to Rosé, it felt like we were the only people there. After she left, Taehyung and I took a ride with his car and we went to my favorite restaurant, Korealicious.

A/N: I created that restaurant name myself and it's not existing in real life. At least I think so. Okay, back to the story.

Taehyung and I arrived at the restaurant and we sat down on the wooden stools. I could smell the refreshing scent of beef and I think I'm in heaven. We started eating beef and I ate my favorite food, tteokboki. Seriously, you should try it. IT'S SOO GOOD that I'm literally moaning when it hits the surface of my tongue. I continued to stuff my mouth with food until Taehyung poked my shoulder. I looked at him.

"What is it, hyung?"

"Isn't that Rosé and Chanyeol?"

"What are you talking abo-"
I looked at the direction at where he was looking at and my jaw dropped. It's them.
